Cheese and Crain in Mendip

Saw a couple of bands here, New Model Army & backing band - very well ventilated & using sensible covid precautions, also bands were great

Was at the Cheese & Grain last night for Legend The Bob Marley experience. Beautiful venue.. Helpful & top class staff.. Good car park...all in one But above all.. The vibes and music from the one and only World number one Bob Marley tribute band Awesome evening 👏👏

Watched The Undertones, it's great gig venue! Busy but not too crowded, friendly efficient staff. Didn't have to wait long at the bar. Shame the train timetable doesn't match up with the finishing time.

One of my favourite informal larger venues. Always friendly, and a great use of a market hall that benefits the town. Folks travel from miles around for the wide variety of acts supporting local hospitality and shops. Wow but that new heating system packs a punch!

Excellent venue and a great local place to see touring bands and artists. First time visit with some friends to see The Sweet and Limehouse Lizzy. Great set up, with bars and food (not available on night). Well attended gig though not so crowded that it felt in awkward or uncomfortable in the current climate. Bar and steward service and facilities great too. Music was just amazing and really captured the legends and decade of rock too. Will be looking out for future gigs now....

Lovely cafe 49ght next to the carpark. Friendly staff, great coffee and food. Plenty 9f tables and chairs, but full when we arrived.They also have a very interesting tea selection

From the outside you might be forgiven for giving the building a passing glance from the car park and then wandering into Frome proper for refreshments. Guilty as charged. Today I got curious and Wow what a treat!! It's wonderful. Light, airy and spacious - the staff are a delight and everything on offer looked so inviting. I only had time for coffee, but I will surely be back for more. Excellent.

Great venue. Great sound and good vibe. Bar staff are friendly and there is loads of parking right out front. They do have some local ciders, and booze selection is pretty good for a live venue.

Great venue, have been a few times now and each time I've enjoyed it. Great venue, great people and brilliant bands.

Came here to watch The Dualers. A quality band and a quality venue. Free parking after 6pm very close by and lots of nearby shops. Staff at the Cheese & Grain were all very friendly and queues at the bar moved quickly. Usually it can get very hot in most Gig venues but this place seemed not as hot which was nice.I'll definitely look to come here again.
