China Capital in Mendip

Just moved to the area, been to this Chinese twice now and will be sticking with them the food is excellent 😊

Just ordered a takeaway for me and the mrs,never been here but trying today as mikes kitchen is closed....And I’m very impressed with it,quick delivery,one of the biggest special chow meins iv ever seen!!!lovely chicken curry and egg fried rice and had a free roast pork bun thrown in to try and WOW absolutely beautiful.will definitely be ordering from here again

Eaten from here quite a few times over the last few years and it’s always been excellent! Just a really top quality Chinese takeaway!The staff are always super friendly and polite.The times are always reasonable.The food never tastes to sweet or too salty and doesn’t feel too greasy.Recommendations:Tofu in sesame and peanut saucePlain chow mienSweet potato in filo pastryMini spring rollsChips and sweet and sour sauce

Great food (bao buns are awesome) but always engaged when calling and have to pay by cash. Would order from here more if they had the option to pay online.

On holiday in Frome. Wanted Chinese take out for the night. Google search and this establishment turfed up. Five dishes for 23 English pounds...wow. Waited 7 mins for food. Food excellent.

I've warmed to China Capital despite a bad experience with the Mongolian Duck a few years' ago.It's really good to see them open again in the current climate.The free homemade roast pork bun was absolutely delicious.Card payment would be a good addition.

We always end up going to get our Chinese takeaway here, it's local, they're friendly and they've never let us down. Of course in a restaurant in sure you can do better but if you need a chow mein hit, some of those shredded crispy beef things or my personal favourite pork balls for dipping in chilli sauce...you're in for a treat!

I have used China Capital for many years and the food is consistently delicious and very well cooked. The tofu dishes are the best I have ever tasted and we often feed the family for 2-3 meals with the meals we order. Lots of free bees, spring rolls and prawn crackers. Excellent service prompt and pleasant service. Never had a problem. I recommend this Chinese takeaway as the best in Frome town. For delicious Chinese food I rarely go anywhere else, it's just not the same quality!
