Coffee#1 Frome in Mendip

Some staff good some need more training on making the drinks. I asked for a caramel frappe, when I received it there was no caramel sauce around the inside of the cup and none on the cream either as it shows in the photo. It shouldn't be this hard to make a drink & this wasn't the first time.

Love the coffee and the staff but when you have a 2 year old and your sat by the open window door, on a non smoking side you'd expect staff to enforce that it's non smoking even though the smoking side is having repairs, instead of siding with an angry old lady who seems to think it's okay to swear and smoke near 2 years olds. As a loyal customer I'm highly disappointed, would be less disappointed if there wasn't a bunch of various other seating options next to this cafe

Wherever I visit and want a coffee ☕ my first choice is always coffee1 because I'm never disappointed the coffee is always great and hot 🔥 unlike some places I've been and its always made how I like it as is the porridge 😋 I've never had a bad experience the staff are always friendly and welcoming as we're they today what I like as well is that they're not overpriced either such a great selection of cakes and savoury too would recommend coffee1 wherever you go

A very busy Saturday morning to make my first visit.Quite a queue but a good choice of drinks and cakes on offer.I was pleased with the smoothie menu and really happy with the taste of mango pineapple and passion fruit.My family enjoyed the oatmilk flat whites and the elderflower .We had a good sized table for five of us.Two toilets available.Children's toys to play withDogs allowed inside with a good supply of biscuits to help yourself to.I liked the decor and the history factsAll in all a good experience.

Our goto coffee shop. It had a nice cup of coffee, friendly staff and comfy chairs. We sometimes bring boardgames to play with our kids too (they have a selection of games you can borrow and books you can read too).

Went here today and the workers turned off the grill as soon as the Manager left. I wanted a grilled sandwich but the said no, they close at 4pm, it was only 3pm. Then I ordered a coffee but they said they couldn't give me a regular cup, it had to be paper. The reason was they were not using the dishwasher anymore that day. Where is the Manager and how are these people being trained??This place is definitely customer no service!

Always love coming here! I like the fact the friendly regular staff remember our usual order (and other peoples too). Portugese tarts always good, great latte coffee. Dont get caught in the carpark at the rear - often closes early (esp Sunday) but #1 doesnt have keys!

Lovely coffee in here! Staff were very quick to help us. The blends of coffee are delicious!Really awesome, cosy atmosphere. If in the area again we’ll definitely make a visit here!

Very poor customer service. The young lady serving us ignored us until she had finished looking at Snapchat on her phone, then was grumpy, surly and monosyllabic.Ordered two large hot chocolate deluxe drinks. The cup was filled to less than half way, then topped up with whipped cream to 3/4 full. Not good value for money. Would not recommend.

Absolutely wonderful coffee shop x staff are amazing x smiley happy cheerful x wonderful value for money x local produce and coffee compost avalible. Good variety of food and coffee. Seating inside and out. Suitable for everyone. Kids,elderly,young,disabled you name it. Cant wait to return xxxx
