Costa Coffee in Mendip

Popped in a sneaky Purple one latte, they are the best x great place very clean and friendly staff x my favourite cafe in a great retail park xx

You're never going to get the best coffee here...after all it is a large coffee chain. However, I thought it was worthy of a review due to the incredible setting. I've never sat and had a coffee in such an incredible setting before. Has its own little free car park just up hill across the road. Well worth a visit.

Very rude assistant who couldn't stop telling how to wear our masks not wearing one herself!Definitely put us down for visitingShe needs to be fired as can tell she's not happy to work there. Not a smile or a kind gesture, forget customer service there.

On Saturday the 19/09/2020 I went to Cheddar for a walk. At some point my sugar level dropped and I'm diabetes, nearest place to buy Coca Cola which saves my life was Costa. I went there but I couldn't find my face mask, it was quite stressful moment to me! So I cover my nose and mouth with T-shirt. Guy behind the counter at 13:50 asked me to leave if I don't have proper mask. I was the only person in the queue, So I've said that only need 2bottles of Coca Cola. He refused to sell them. So I've explain to him that I'm diabetes and I really need it now as my sugar level dropped and I'm not feeling good. He still refused to sell me Coca Cola and asked to leave now!I was shocked! Other customers were sitting at the premises without mask and I've been thrown out! I could die! SHAME ON YOU YOUNG GENTELMEN!!

Fantastic location with a view of Cheddar Gorge. They were unable to accept gift card or apply points because systems not working. Gingerbread latte was perfect after a walk through the Gorge.

Nice big coffee shop with ample indoor and outdoor seating. Views up and down the gorge and free parking nearby. Staff are lovely and friendly. Coffee and sandwiches made well and whole cafe clean. There are steps to entrance so disabled access difficult,(not sure if separate entrance available) public toilets on site.

Friendly staff, quick service, in a lovely setting with alfresco dining.

Nice and clean Costa with room for a large crowd. Nice view but a bit noisy from the road. Friendly personnel.

Really lovely view of Lion Rock and the main high street. It has its own free car parking spot for customers opposite with enough spaces for 5 cars. Great utensils staff and a huge outside area too.

Costa Coffee, should be good a one thing.. Coffee.. Why then dies a small cappuccino come the size of a small bath with the coffee watered down so much it's ruined..it was a lovely location but seriously let down like most Costas I have been too by the state of the place... It wasn't even busy but the place was disgusting.. The floor was filthy, every table had dirty crockery and rubbish on it. Shame.. These are basics.. Clean floor and tables... It's not inviting when it's so filthy everywhere...
