Fantastic vibe in an amazing beer garden. Great staff, lovely beer, amazing cocktails and scrumptious food. Definitely worth a visit, highly recommended.

Nice lunch in the spacious garden. Simple but good food with decent beer and ciders on offer.I think the inside is being renovated but if as good as garden offering I think it will be a success.

First time of visiting the Crown even though I've lived in Shepton for 33 years! New owners and just the garden open at the moment but serving excellent Pizza and Smokery food. Will be closing soon to carry out a refurb of the pub itself. Real potential here to create an excellent pub.

Exactly the pub you expect to find in a community famous for hosting the Glastonbury Festival of Arts. Excellent food and drink options.

Unfortunately closed at the moment (as of April 2021) - pub has been bought - no public information available as to when it will reopen and new owners have not updated Google opening hours or left an answering machine ! - we hope this village pub will return soon…

Since the inn where we were staying didn't do Sunday evening meals we called in the Crown. Lady behind the bar was very accomodating and offered us a specials board. Very friendly pub and obviously a popular place for locals who made us feel welcome unlike many other places. We ordered fish and chips with peas and tartare sauce. The fish in beer batter was very good and the portion size was huge. Too much for us unfortunately but that is definitely not a complaint. This place deserves a visit.

I arrived here with a client for a sunday lunch. The staff here were very accommodating and the Roast beef was divine. I have driven past this place many times and never thought to go in. The food here is priced well and is very good quality.. We will definitely be oming back here.

Nice place with a good vibe and live entertainment. Meal was ok but good value for money.Might have been been due to live music or the fact it was 2015 and food service stops at 2100 but no other signs of food being eaten so maybe more a pub than food place.But would recommend trying as my visit was short.

Excellent roast, all home cooked. The pub hasn't been messed about with either. Very welcoming and loved hearing the local farmers discussing their cows.
