Being a foodie it's a delight to satisfy the gustatory system , the staff are friendly and happy to adapt their menu to specific dietary requirements or add more chilli to suit preferences.Alcohol isn't sold here but they charge a small corkage fee and one can bring their own drinks. One of my favourite eating houses in Glastonbury.

Went there for my Birthday, the waitress was great. Thankyou.

Rather lousy food. Garlic naan comes with a awful paste on it. And you have to bring your own beer. Not recommended

Top Tandoori, excellent food, tasty and delicious with unique flavours, good menu for vegetarians and friendly people serving. The home delivery service is an added bonus. I have eaten here a lot and its always good.

Very disappointed with the delivery service from Elaichi tonight. Ordered at 6pm given a 6.45pm time. At 7.10pm I rang to be told it would be 5-10minutes….. 15 minutes later, with no apology our lukewarm food turned up.

Planned a nice weekend away to celebrate my wife's Birthday. Had a wonderful lunch in local chip shop, had a wander around the town and even managed to walk up to the Tor...so far so good. Then came the evening meal at the Elaichi Restaurant......and must admit neither of us could complain about the quantity of food. We both ordered the specialities, however, both meals looked exactly the same and tasted .....of nothing... no taste/flavour at all! ...The keema nan and kebab were excellent but that was all ....we paid up and left, quite expecting to go on to a bar elsewhere.....but within 15/20 minutes we were both suffering from severe stomach pains and decided to go back to our hotel were we spent the rest of the night in absolute agony and its safe to say this 'Restaurant' completely and utterly ruined my wife's special day and our few days away! What I've failed to put on here is....my wife is Asian and is a fantastic cook if the chefs in this 'restaurant' ever need any tips ......

Unfortunately, disappointed. The service was slow between courses. No one asked how our meal was. Ordered the lamb jalfrezi, the meat was extremely chewy and the flavours was out of balance all heat no flavour. The rice was dry also. . Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not as high as the price!

The vibe of the restaurant is good and the waiters/servers are polite, respectful and friendly. From an Indian's perspective the food tasted like re-heated meat, coated with a fresh blend of herbs and spices. An Asian person or a person who has tasted true Asian cuisines, may find this heavily disappointing. The prices are premium, I really hoped I could say the same about the food.

The only curry restaurant in walking distance of Glastonbury centre. That does not mean you serve second class food. It was well below par for an Indian restaurant, you taste the chicken had been added to the sauce not marinaded first. The curry I ordered was a Madras and was expecting spices got none. The tarkadal we left as not even Paul Daniels could work magic in it to give it taste. The staff were ok but have the opinion of "get you in sit down here is your food eat up and get out next customer". They hoovered round our table more than need round a honey jar. However the 3 ladies behind us who where just starting their desert and coffee when we arrived where still there when we left. They didn't have the staff bother them? Regulars but we are all paying customers.
