Fondo Lounge in Mendip

I come here almost everyday! I work at a local pub near by and often stop by for a take away coffee before and after work. I also happen to eat here a lot, The food is incredible and they have menus for everyone. They are very good with allergies. Very friendly staff and lovely atmosphere. Decent prices too! 100% recommend to anyone looking for good food!

It's ok, it's a higher end cafe/ bar so expect ok food at higher prices. Street doesn't have a lot to offer but chains and poor quality cafes so this is you best bet.The tables are spread out and the staff are lovely, I have been a few time and will go again. The decor is lovely and very comfyBut...The food is good but it's priced as if it was great, feels like someone in the kitchen was asked to fancy things up, a little extra pepper here, some Italian herbs there, then everyone will be impressed and we can double the price.

We called in yesterday evening for a pudding and a drink! We've done this several times now, and we are working out way through the puddings! We love the atmosphere,the background music, the staff, all very relaxing. Of course the puddings are wonderful too, the churros are probably my favourite, so far!

Always enjoy food from the lounges, didn’t realise there was in Street so was happily surprised! Very well priced food, and it’s actually delicious! Pints more expensive than the Wetherspoons next door, but it’s worth it for the much better menu! The cocktails look great, yet to try these. They do deals on different days also. It’s actually really big on the inside, with nice outside area too. Great selection of food. Cosy decor and with candles, definitely will be back! Also a large carpark just behind that is free after 6pm, so perfect for dinner.

Good food, at reasonable price, served within a reasonable amount of time, by friendly staff.For a chain, I was very impressed with the quality of the food.Clearly cooked fresh, and very tasty.The cocktails were also well made, to order and not from bottles.Tables well spaced.Highly recommended.

First time visiting after the lounge was recommended and also after discovering GBK fries are not vegan!The Vegan range on offer is great and I had to double check the Beyond Burger was actually vegan as the look and taste could have been meat!The atmosphere and decoration is great.

I had the lounge bacon cheese burger in the Wells restaurant. Excellent burger. So many flavours and perfectly cooked burger.Chips were very nice too.Highly recommended.

Large cafe. Very spacious area, not too many tables crowded in. Very clean and tidy. Next to the shopping outlet, large car park right behind, just off the High Street. Had tea and a slice of lemon and blueberry drizzle, very nice. Reasonable prices and friendly staff.

Great service and friendly attitude from all the young crew. Had the Lounge Eggs with smoked bacon, absolutely delicious!Poached eggs cooked to perfection.Look forward to returning again soon.

My curry was so good I had to write a 5 star review about it!! ⭐I arrived at 5pm on a Sunday afternoon which was absolutely perfect, only a few other people coming in and out during this time which made for a very relaxing experience teamed with the music being played.I ordered the sweet potato and lentil curry which was absolutely to die for, and very decently priced.Very friendly waitress and bar staff, I'd encourage everybody to visit.
