Absolutely stunned by this visit. The food was top notch and service very quick, even on a busy bank holiday lunchtime.£29 for a 3 course meal with such superb quality in a gorgeous, clean, modern restaurant - I cannot praise Goodfellows highly enough 🌟

Goodfellows is a nice cosy restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. But it's the cuisine which is outstanding and quite honestly superb. My husband and I thought our meal was one of the best we've ever had! Highly recommended.

Dec 2021. Been here a few times for lunch and very impressed. Service well timed, food excellent, atmosphere relaxed. Covid restrictions were well dealt with when required. A definite 'go to' when in Wells. Park your car in the long stay car park above Waitrose.

Being local as tempted by the good reviews. But we both found our meals underwhelming and lacking in flavour. More style over a balance of cohesion, and well cooked quality ingredients should speak for themselves without fussiness. We generally do better at home! And it was expensive, with a very limited, oddly compiled menu. Looking at the other diners however, they were probably raised in the 50/60s where quality food was limited in availability and simple, unlike today where expectations are higher and palates more experienced.

If I could give Goodfellows more stars I would. The food was so good and nicely presented.My husband and I both had 3 course each all different choices and they were all excellent. The best meal we have had since coming back to the UK from living in France.

Four of us enjoyed very good food, celebrating an anniversary in late May. Unhurried, precise service and food presented professionally; but the highlight was the flavour and texture of each dish. Even my friend who looked at his menu card and exclaimed that there was little he liked on the menu was impressed with the food he enthusiastically devoured. WVA
