AMAZING SERVICE. The food was good and service was quick.Patrick & Maddie in particular Made us feel Really welcome and Both made our experiance at the whole attraction much better. (On site pirate golf etc)Thanks to them and the rest of the team for a great holiday.

The attached picture is apparently a £9.99 portion of "homemade" mac and cheese. Comes complete with half a plate of cheap salad to bulk out the plate and two solid pieces of garlic bread. The children's food arrives on red hot plates so beware. We had to ask them for a different plate to transfer the food onto.

Poor quality, high price and not very clean.Having come here after visiting Wookey Hole caves I'd recommend anyone thinking of going to Captain Jacks to find somewhere else!Different set up due to C:19 but communication from staff is very poor.Ordered and told to take a seat, we sat down only told to move as we weren't allowed to sit there due to restrictions. Could of told us before or have a sign!Food is substandard, poor quality, small potions.Table we sat at was disgustingly dirty and clearly hadn't been cleaned for some time. Floor was equally as dirty.Table next to us, a family of four asked the server for cloths so they could clean their own table! Considering what is happening around the world at the moment I would have thought cleanliness would be at the top of the list, certainly not at this restaurant! With the cleanliness issue, food quality and prices this is a definite NO NO for a revisit.

We went there as a family and had a very open mind. We weren't expecting Michelin Star Food but honestly the food was great. The kids said they enjoyed the food here more than a large chain restaurant the night before. The service was great, very happy and upbeat. The cheese is definitely worth a try even if cheese isn't your thing. We'll definitely be coming back to try out the full amenities when the theatre is back open! Keep it up!

Wasnt expecting much after seeing previous reviews but we couldn't fault it! Excellent food & super friendly staff. Highly recommend trying the wookey cave cheese.. Amazing! 🤩

Our stay was truly horrible, but unfortunately not because of the Halloween theme. We stayed at the Wookey Hole Hotel and so we had the luck to "enjoy" the Captain Jack's two times. Please avoid this place!Evening: due to COVID, the restaurant was not crowded, but we had still to wait for over 50 minutes for standard convenience food with two children. Food left the kitchen in a 15 min. time interval. The quality was sub-standard for this price.Morning: for breakfast, we weren't expecting high standards, but the bad quality surprised us again. The liquid they called coffee was like the rest: really cheap and bad quality. Good to know, the stuff is allowed to get a coffee from the proper coffee machine, but not the paying guests. The continental Breakfast was a prepared box and felt like eating on a camping site. The ambience itself is also very low standard and the toilets are not clean. Try to find another local pub or restaurant.

Visited today and having seen the lack of cleaniless, chose to buy the kids a packet of crisps and a bottle of drink. The tables were filthy, and the courtyard seating area by the rear entrance is just horrible. It needs some serious investment, which is a real shame as the caves were absolutely amazing and the guides helpful and knowledgeable.

It was pouring down..we opened the door to be met by a young girl who looked surprised to see us. When I asked if this was the wrong door she said it was shut for a reason as they weren't open yet. It was 5:25 and our table was booked for 5:30, I said should we have stood outside in the rain. The food was ok, well it will keep me alive til morning.
