Hundred Monkeys in Mendip

Popped in for lunch. Lovely menu...something different. Had the vegan spicy chickpea and corn burger... was very tasty. The wife had humour, bread and olives and loved it. All followed by real leaf tea in an iron pot. Highly recommended.

Not a great choice of food hence the 4 stars. The scone with jam and cream and Earl Grey tea was lovely, proper Earl Grey. The cafe had a nice chilled atmosphere.

Very little offer in the menu, extremely expensive, staff running around with little time for you. Very disappointed used to be one of my highlights when visiting Glastonbury trying different restaurants! Not worth in price quantity or service. We had to go and buy a sandwich to complement the lunch🙄

Drawn in by the sign out front for vegan lasagna, was really excited until it arrived the lasagna was clearly pre prepared, portioned, frozen and microwaved which totally ruined it. Would've been lovely had it been fresh. The vegan chocolate shake was just chocolate oatly and ice, very disappointing and incredibly cheeky charging £3.30 for it. Would not return or recommend.

Incredible place! Staff are all exceptional, I was overwhelmed by the quality of the food and the coffee, the service was great just the icing on the cake really! That about sums up my experience.

We parked just behind the high street, from there is was a short walk through Abbey Mews to the cafe. The car park is cash only and no app support to pay.The cafe itself is lovely a very ‘homely’ feel when you first enter, you’re presented with the cake display which looks great!Wait to be seated (take away also available) the staff are warm and friendly, they were all smiling when we visited.The menu is great, a lot of choice for gluten free and vegan orientated. It is a spacious and comfortable cafe with some lovely furniture.I had the turmeric latte with oat milk which was very good, the leek and greens lasagne. It smelled beautiful and tasted even better than that!I also chose the mocha pie and the apple and seeds flapjack, both very tasty.Based on this experience I would certainly recommend a visit if you’re in town.

Amazing food. The scone that I had was among the best I've ever had. Felt covid safe as not crowded in there. Tried a really tasty tea. Lots of choice on teas and also scrumy food.Oh. And let's not forget the amazing customer service, especially from Meg. Very professional. Deserved her 20% tip.

Pros: lots of vegan options, good selection of coffee, teas and cakes.Cons: waiting staff forgot our order, which on it's own happens, but it didn't feel like we were properly apologised to. Food was good, but the salad was a little oil heavy for me, which was a shame cause the ingredients were fresh.Overall a mixed bag, but had a sour (or should I say oily) taste in my mouth when all is said and done.

We visit here for lunch every time we visit Glastonbury. Never disappointed. It does get busy. Updated recent 2021 visit Lunch Mexican veggie burrito & pork wrap. Last year 2020: Honey roasted parsnip & cheddar cheese quiche & puy lentil bolognese ragu. Tasty food indeed. One of our favourite places to eat in Glastonbury. Good service. Good atmosphere. Dogs allowed too.

It’s not bad, but hardly deserving of all the five star reviews in my opinion. I’m generally disappointed by food in Glastonbury. This place is part of the pattern. The food is okay, but not great. It’s quite expensive. It’s basically cheap café food at restaurant prices.I guess it thrives because there are not a lot of other choices here in Glastonbury, but a lot of traffic as the town is so famous.
