Lovely location. We sat outside on market day and enjoyed the bustle. The lattes and hot chocolate were poor quality, but the scones were good and came with generous helpings of jam and cream. I think avoid it if you're a coffee connoisseur, but if you're not fussy and want a good cream tea, then I recommend it.

Had coffee and a very nice cake. The cake options included vegan and gluten free.

Latte was lovely, but we’ve finished all our drinks and still haven’t received the food, been 45 minutes so far, was never told there would be a wait for food, and there seems to be at least 6 staff working.

Today we ordered a beans on toast and received toast with a side pot of beans. And ordered a bacon sandwich of which was very poor.I certainly will not use here again

Went to this place today. The table we sat at still had spilt tea on it so we moved to a cleaner table. Others than sat at the table without anyone cleaning it. We ordered, sat with our pot of tea for two which literally only just filled two small cups!35 minutes later our meal had still not arrived and after enquiring staff stated it would be a few minutes (we ordered salad?)We therefore asked for a refund and left. Didn't even have the decency to deduct the tea from our bill after being let down.Went to Pickwick's afterwards which had clean tables/menus. Friendly and timely service.

Amazing really tasty home cooked food. We had a brilliantly spiced vegetable soup and Cheddar & Ham quiche which was divine. Great sunny spot on an bright Autumn afternoon. highly recommended.

Ordered brushetta expecting bread (French stick) it was small hard round croutons and not at all worth £9. The Quiche was awful too and lacked egg. Would not recommend eating here, worst cafe I have been to

Nice location, good choice of food and drinks including gluten free options. Let down by sticky tables and dirty laminated menus. Although they have cleaning fa ities located by the tables the staff failed to clean after customers during my visit. Shame.

Absolutely fantastic. Gluten free options were really good and the cake is right up there in my top 3 ever! Lovely atmosphere. Beautiful location. Helpful staff. Will definitely be returning soon.

Popped into Wells for a visit and decided to go here for a cuppa. We only had the tea cakes and tea but loved the feel of the place, plenty of seating options with comfy seating upstairs and if your lucky you can get by a window and watch the going on outside. The service was polite and accommodating, the food coming out looked good and the cakes looked great. We'll definitely be coming back to try the food for ourselves as most things looked home cooked and appealing.
