Oakhill Inn in Mendip

Lovely room, Heidi was superb and her breakfast was too. Dinners good. Staff excellent. We didn't have time to finish our dinner and we had to vacate before we had time to order desert. Other than that it was a lovely stay and our dog Misha loved it.

Great pub, great food, great beer and of course Wayne, Gill, Emma, Hope and team are consistently amazing ⭐️

Good food great price amazing staff and disco music

Nice place to stay, was passing through with work and had just 1 nights stay. Staff were friendly and helpful and they certainly make the place what it is. Friendly locals propping up the bar too, so a general welcoming vibe here. Good drinks choice and lovely food. Room was decent enough, of good size, and as expected really for a room in an old Inn like this building is. Check it out if in the area.

Had a really lovely meal cooked as requested. Received a warm welcome and friendly professional service from start to finish. Thoroughly recommended.

Great pub, beautiful courtyard garden. Love the local ale, food is fabulous. Dogs are also welcome here too

Every single staff even down to the cleaners are so friendly and the locals make you so welcome...this is our 2nd stay and we will be coming back

Overall disappointing, not value for money.Tired decor.Limited menu due to pub quiz, 4 options available, all deep fried, not a vegetable in sight unless you include chips and deep fried onion rings!Expensive food/drink @ £15 pp burger and fish and chips. A bottle of wine £23.Delicious breakfast and friendly, helpful staff.

Nice atmosphere. Enjoyed a nice drink, food was pretty nice, dessert not quite perfect hence 4 stars. Staff were very polite.

This is a nice Inn. With wonderfully helpful owners and staff. Excellent chefs provide amazing food accompanied with a great choice of drinks. The double room was a little small and could do with being updated but the bed was comfortable and all facilities we needed were provided. I did need to buy ear plugs to exclude the road noise but with these in, I slept well.
