Great food. Massive Yorkshire puddings. Fantastic service. Oh and a live parrot at the entrance. Went on a busy Sunday without reservation. Got table and drinks within 5 mins. Brilliant

Stayed for 2 nights. We were made very welcome. All staff were brilliant. Food was great too. We'll definitely be going back again. A real gem.

Came here today 14jan for my birthday meal. Didnt have to wait long to be seated and served. I had the slow cooked brisket which just melted in the mouth. Dauphinous potatoes were superb as were the vegetables. Hubby had madras curry which had just the right amount of heat served with chips and poppadoms. I had creme brulee which was fab with a shortbread biscuit while hubby had banana and caramel ice cream. All in all fabulous food and attentive and friendly staff. Will definitely be returning

This pub has a very good reputation and a loyal following with locals. The menu was very extensive and offered a lot of options, there would be something for everybody . The food was plentiful and arrived on time. Service was very friendly and prompt. There is good parking available on-site.

Lovely old place. We had a Christmas meal, which was very nice and it was hot. So often luke warm when it's cooked en masses. The only downside was the wait. Half an hour before we got our first course. And quite a wait for dessert. That's ok of an evening but I had to go back to work.

Lovely place to eat. We went with friends for a roast dinner, all our dinners were lovely. Puddings were even better! 😉 Staff were welcoming and freindly. The garden is gorgeous and we will definitely return when we visit that neck of the woods again.
