Old Spot in Mendip

Really nice people, great place, and amazing food, had an rta just outside the inn, and so grateful it happened there as it was a great place to to wait, and the people in the inn where super helpful and let me leave the keys so the recovery company could come and pick it up and I didn't need to wait until midnight for the recovery truck. When my partner came we decided to eat which was a good decision as the food was amazing, great quality and very well presented. All in all turned what was a drama into a pleasurable experience.

Has a good atmosphere and staff friendly and polite. Good choice of food on the menu. Really enjoyed my meal and would definitely go back 😋

Never being here before. Met here for a surprise birthday lunch with my daughter, son and our grandchildren. The roast was amazing 4 of us had the Mendip Trio roast which was pork stuffed loin,beef and a lamb Wellington it was fantastic.

Very friendly welcome and a warm environment with comfy chairs. The service was prompt and food was fine and decent value for money. We will return.

The most wonderful place , which I have visited. Customer service are so helpful, kindly and understanding. Breakfast boxes are included - fresh and delicious muffins 😍, fruit's, juices , croissants 🤤 shower with bath - I am in heaven 🍀 and bed - oh my Goodness, I can't remember when I was sleeping so good 💌 thank you so much 🍀 highly recommended ! That was a pleasure ! I'm pretty sure, I will be back when I need the place for staying 🍀

Hi and thank you for being dog friendly. You should advertise this on your website too indeed. The parking was a bit tricky on Sunday. The roast was great and the dessert menu impressive. The service spot on. Sorry I haven't tried more drinks. The latte was just perfect. See you soon! :-)

We went on a Sunday evening and the food was superb. It's a different menu on Sunday... So we'll definitely be back to try the standard menu.Food was hot, freshly prepared and very tasty.The service was very good to start off but got noticeably slower as the evening went on but the staff are friendly and polite.My only real complaint was the car park - which was full with cars double parked. We were lucky someone was leaving to nab the space. Think the car park needs extending a bit with spaces marked out.Overall it was good and we'll be back. The food isn't cheap but it's good quality, something for most tastes and a pleasant atmosphere.

Booked for 10 and a baby. Good menu, good service, lovely food. The dessert menu was to die for. Some lovely servers who were attentive and great with the baby who wanted to walk everywhere. No one tutted! Will definitely be trying again midweek
