Orchardleigh Golf Club Restaurant in Mendip

My brother treated the family for a special occasion. It was a bit of a shambles from the start, we waited an hour to be sat at our table - I know some people like to sit and have a drink before going tot heir tables however it took 45 minutes for our drinks to arrive to us so we didn't sit and drink long!!!Service throughout was a let down. No one could find a menu... Food was average, nothing special, my brother had an amazing meal there in the week but there was only 2 other tables that day, clearly unable to cope with being busy or taking too many bookings for them to handle! Not in a rush to go back!

Lovely Sunday lunch but the music was far to loud at on a rolling tape so heard same songs over and over again ,when asked if they could change it or even lower it down I was told no one there knew how to do it ,ruined our day out ,someone needs toteach or change the system

Gorgeous golf course and surroundings even on a grey, windy January day. Friendly atmosphere, will definitely visit again.

Lovely but very wet, greens holding up well considering the conditions. Friendly club great atmosphere come in the late spring to get the best out of the course.

The food was fantastic. We had Sunday lunch and pudding and couldn't fault it. The service on the other hand was not so great. Served by a very moody lady, but three young girls serving seemed very friendly perhaps she could take a leaf out of there book and smile and talk a bit. We would eat there again though.

Meal was fine but took a long time to be served .three hours to have a two course . Pudding served nearly an hour after main meal and we had to ask someone drinks a ordered and one forgotten so had to make second request .after me telli g everyone how good it was very disappointed

Brilliant location/view and super lovely staff. Would have had 5 stars if you could have custard with your dessert.

Had a great time playing the front nine on a sunny spring evening. The course has some challenging holes with water often in play but I soon forgot about my score with the amazing views on the 6th!

A great way to enter a course. A quaint clubhouse at the end of a winding drive. You pass through the course, walled garden and wedding venue. The club house is getting facelift at the moment. The staff are all very friendly
