Fabulous value for money and the staff were fantastic and really went above and beyond. We stayed at the Premier Inn, Frome this weekend as we were attending a wedding nearby and were responsible for the wedding cake. Due to the excessive heat we were worried that the cake wouldn’t survive. The helpful staff went out of their way to help us refrigerate it and were so incredibly helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable and noticeably quiet.A massive thank you to your wonderful team!

There is no air conditioning at this hotel! I stayed here during the summer, and my goodness it was hot! Didn't sleep at all. If you want a good night's sleep during a heatwave, then don't stay here!

Premier Inn is my go to chain for good hotels at reasonable prices usually within good locations of touristy hot spots. We booked this hotel in Frome for a day at longleat and a day in Bath. Good location between both locations.I have only given a 2 star based on the hotel itself, staff wise I have given a 5 star. The hotel itself is looking pretty tired and out dated, rooms are less basic than most premier inns somehow, I thought they would be consistent across your chain.Staff...brilliant service from the young gentleman who was working on Saturday evening. He seemed to be the only staff member on site and sorted us out with a room change dude to an accident in our room (148) which led to the electricity tripping. We then moved to 135, just around the corner which was fine.Restaurant staff were a mixed bag, the young waitress on Saturday night was very helpful and friendly, yet Sunday mornings staff all looked a bit grumpy and as if they couldn't be bothered to be there.Big shout out to the gentleman, who I believe works in the kitchen who helped us out with a flat battery on the car Sunday morning. He saved us a lengthy wait from the breakdown company with his jump leads. The restaurant is in dire need of a good clean, and spruced up with some new furniture. The seats were all covered in dirt, walls and window sill areas nearby were all stinking which put me off my food a bit.I have attached a picture of one of the seats at our table, yet looking around where we were sat most of the chairs looked in the same poor condition.Would I stay at this hotel again? Probably not for the £110 we paid, considering how basic and lack of cleanliness in the communal areas.

Clean, tidy rooms as you would expect from the chain (and the reason I use them!). The food at the adjoining pub was very good, and there were several food & drink offers available if you sign up to the loyalty card

Location perfect for Longleat Safari Park. Service at this Premier Inn was great. The room was a bit hot as the A/C was not working so made sleeping at bit uncomfortable. 4 out of 5 for us 👍

It's a Premier Inn. You know what you're getting and it didn't disappoint.Only criticism was that the room was very warm and stuffy.Brilliantly place for time at Longleat. Would use it again if I was there

Nice and clean, room large and well maintained, only down side here is the rooms are warm however the lack of air conditioning is mentioned on the website and fans are provided and were running upon arrival.

Overnight stay, seeing a band in Bath (Friday night) & then to Southampton on Saturday. Check-in took ages! Room large & spotless, bed & pillows comfy as per the norm for a Premier. Only problem - shower head would not let water through it so had to take a bath instead! Good job we had both the bath & shower option!

Rooms on the ground floor 1 to 17,are older than the rest. I am working away from home so too far to travel to work. This hotel is my resting place, First week away I had room number 3 second week 55 of witch was better than room 3.My third week room number 15 , first nighs rest was compromised by the residents in the room above me .I could hear every foot step from that room above .The staff are very well trained to deal with most problems and are helpful. The restaurant is very well set up .All so the staff are well trained ,work well under pressure from being extremely busy. Can't find any fault with the food .The meal deal is worth every penny.Unfortunately the older rooms are overdue a refurbishment especially upgrade of sound proofing to the upstairs flooring.

A busy place with just 1 receptionist. Who was lovely like all the staff here. Our bathroom was smelly, the food was under cooked with items missing from plate.when asked they bought them out? Breakfast was limited because of the small area used. It wasn't filled quick enough so very limited with choice. muffins where hard and stale. The only redeeming thing is location and short drive to longleat. I use prem all the time and this is the first time I've felt disappointed with our stay. . Improvement s could and should be made.I won't be using this one again I mafraid.
