An absolute gem of a find! Understated, comfortable local pub with honest food and some resident labradors, what’s not to like?! Beer garden view is delightful! Thanks Chloe and co, see you next year!

Clean good beds.i booked this as bed and breakfast.nice ambience in the bar but there was no breakfast no staff available why ? should not advertise as a b and.b and charge as such..

Lovely lunch yesterday afternoon, kids had fun on the bouncy castle. The views are stunning on a clear day. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Excellent food and service, very dog friendly. Field next door for dog exercise. Run by an enthusiastic young couple who have recently taken over. Rooms are comfortable but some on going refurbishment is helping to upgrade the facilities.

The owners here were really lovely and looked after us incredibly well. The food was amazing and the two of them do it all themselves. They had great vegetarian options as well!! The cooked breakfast was particularly great and their rooms were quite spacious and comfy.

Food was excellent. They let themselves down badly in other ways. No red or white wine, no custard for the dessert and no coffee. Given it was May bank holiday Sunday it was to say the least surprising. Good enough pub but lacked organisation clearly. Pity.

We stayed here before a visit to the Bath and West showground. Perfect, close location. Really good food and wonderful service from the couple who have recently taken over.

Found this hotel while looking for somewhere to stay near Vobster. This is an excellent small hotel over the pub. I had a lovely oldy worldy double room.very comfy bed.Had to leave before breakfast and the owners offered for me to take some cereal and uht milk with me so I could eat before I left. Great service!Really friendly staff and a great find.

Lovely old Inn. It is under new management with a young couple in charge. The food is very good, we both had curries which were very tasty.

Rude staff. Dirty glasses. You have to purchase a drink before you can play pool? Never heard of that before. We're paying for Pool in the first place? Wouldn't even let us have one drink to share; we had to purchase two? Amazed. Never had any of this elsewhere. I wouldn't recommend unfortunately.
