The is the perfect pub for children. The menu and food are really good. Big portion size. The outside space is so well thought out, for a mum of 4 (under 8) containment is a massive point for me and there are 2 gates to go through to keep little ones safe from car park, on the other side of the road the beach huts are even gated, perfect if it rains you can retreat to them. It is nice having the play area seperate so that other people who don't have children can enjoy the outside and are not disturbed by yelling of kids. We had such a great time there today we will definitely be back.

Friendly, characteristic pub, good beer and food in a fabulous location. We had great service from the two lads in charge. Good selection of food on the lunchtime menu, many quite traditional, well presented and tasty.

Excellent food. Very friendly and welcoming staff. The little huts ideal for eating your meal if you have dogs

Beautiful pub, beautiful food! Very friendly. As a lone female travelling around i find it a little intimidating eating out alone sometimes, but this place was absolutely lovely. Very generous food portions and very tasty. Will be back again!

In the beautiful, timeless setting of Priddy. This pub has great pub food and outside eating areas. I enjoyed the fish pie. My dog found the place so clean there were no scraps on the floor. She gave a grudging 5 stars.

This is a great little pub with a great local community feel.Highly recommend, however, it's more than just a dog-friendly pub; there are dogs everywhere.Well worth a visit, a great selection of booze, not so good for its alcohol-free selection.

A proper country pub.A friend recommended this pub and even though it’s out of our way we thought we would give it a try, and have been back many times. The food here is fresh and cooked to perfection. The service has always been very good and the prices are reasonable.I’ve not tried them yet but they have beach huts set up as mini dining rooms seating up to six. They have a nice outside space in front of the pub and a play area on the other side of the car park.

We'd driven past this pub a number of times on the way to deerleap viewpoint and were intrigued by the beach huts in the pub garden. Took the plunge and popped in for a quick drink on our way back to Bristol from Burnham. We were greeted by a warm, friendly local pub with a cheery gent behind the bar. A good selection of ales and a gins but perhaps it the most extensive (as you'd expect). Plenty of little pockets of seats to sit in, including pews, in a rustic setting. Nice roaring fire in the wood burner kept the place warm.We will be back to sample the food and maybe try the beach huts when the weather is nicer

Had lunch there today with family. Flawless. Incredibly welcoming, superb pies, really friendly staff, great atmosphere, log burners. This a proper pub, the best I have been to for quite some time, and you should go there too.

Top pub at the top of the Cheddar Gorge! Lovely old stone building, flagstone floor, and several cosy log burners. Decent menu and 2 Real Ales from Butcombe in excellent condition. Landlord and his staff are welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed our lunchtime visit!
