Having had takeaways for 2 years, we decided to go in for our first meal. The 2 cokes were flat, when we asked for a replacement there was slight hostility and 1 was replaced. We then ordered a mild chefs special curry new to the menu, this arrived and was so hot my husband could barely eat it. I ordered a chefs special chicken which I have had 10 times or more before and love. It was so hot I didn't eat it and brought it home to attempt to cool it down today. Even the himalayan chicken was slightly spicy. This was a very dissapoibting night. We all left unsatisfied with our meals. My husband has been suffering his extremely hot curry ever since.

Phoned in at lunchtime today to arrange a take-away pick up. Rude and abrupt was an understatement. When my wife called in 30 minutes later to pick up the food they were just rude, disrespectful and really did upset her. Appalling behavoir

WARNING TO PEOPLE WITH FOOD ALLERGIESTonight I had a takeaway from saffron street. We ordered a pilau rice which turned out to be special fried rice with prawns. My girlfriend has a reaction to seafood and is now unwell. On raising this with the restaurant I was laughed at by a member of staff and was told to ring back in 30 minutes. On ringing back I spoke to the manager who offered me a free pilau which is completely unacceptable considering at this point my girlfriend was sick and unable to eat, and then he hung up. They have a complete lack of concern for food allergies and no understanding of the severity of what could have happened if her reaction had been worse. Would hate for this situation to happen to someone with a severe reaction and for it to be fatal! Would not advise eating here or make sure you check your order so you cannot be blamed for receiving the wrong item once you realise it contains an ingredient that is harmful to you!!!!!

Rude, unfriendly staff that treat any female in an disrespectful and derogatory way. The food has always been good but it’s not worth the way you get treated.
