Shepton Brasserie in Mendip

Had a catchup with family & a wonderful coffee. Also tried a cheese scone...it wasn't like my mum or nan used to make! I've never had a green cheese scone before,each to their own but not for me. The burger I had a couple months ago was delicious & the ham & cheese panini was too. A lovely place to go.

Absolutely fabulous - we were visiting the area and looking for a dog friendly place to eat. Well, we were so delighted to find Shepton Brasserie - the food was excellent, the service was first class and our dog was very welcomed indeed. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again if we are back in the area 5*

Very friendly service, brought a water bowl and biscuits over for the dogs. Great they are dog friendly now, can’t wait to come back for breakfast!

Very expensive for ok food! For a "BIG BREAKFAST" it was small and nearly £10 plus coffee.We understand that hospitality trade is rough but this is what will kill this place. Either lower the prices or better the food.Somewhere that got a bit of hype in the local area but God knows why!Honestly, unless management or chef were to change, we will avoid.

Came in the other week food was ok portions wore a bit small I feel like there are other places around Shepton with better value breakfast I left feeling hungry. Atmosphere wise It’s a bit like a weatherspoones in a retirement home.

OK breakfast, 50 minutes wait on the food, and portions were very small.If the wait was less we would give 4 stars, if the portions were just a bit bigger then we would give 5 for a good breakfast.The big breakfast was not very big

What a delight! We found this place today and we’re delighted we did. Wonderful attentive service. A lovely breakfast, quality food well cooked and served with care. Best experience we’ve had in a long time. You should be proud of your establishment and your staff.

Needed a break from testing out mattresses and suites and was taken by Hazel to the Brasserie, where my sister and I had a very nice lattes, toasted tea cake and scone.Staff were very friendly and helpful especially when I asked about the Sunday lunches, which looked and smelled delicious.Was able to carry on testing with ease afterwards!
