Good food, had Sunday lunch,excellent, friendly staff and atmosphere, will go again

We were looked after amazingly well and the food was great. We hired the function room for a family gathering and it could not have gone any better. The staff and place were just what we needed.Thank you so much.

Nice period pub and hotel. Warm welcome, friendly and helpful staff. Had a slight problem with bed, but solved quickly and without fuss. Could not have been better.

A beautiful place to stay. Spotlessly clean everywhere. Quiet bedrooms despite being on a busy road. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast included. Most food on the menu has a gluten free option. Martin, the manager is fantastic and ensures that he has time to have a chat to everyone making us all feel very welcome and at home. Great bunch of friendly locals too. Warming, real fire. Skye the pub dog is very friendly to all. 10/10 for everything. Thank you Martin and team.

FANTASTIC !!! The thatched cottage definitely went above and beyond for us.We held a wake here for 170+ people Martin and his team from start to finish made sure the smooth running of everything from car parking to the buffet I would definitely recommend to anyone.Thank you

Lovely evening for my Husbands birthday. Excellent food and service. Took our own cake and they lit the candles and bought out to him. Great staff and very welcoming.

Amazing food definitely worth a visit. friendly staff, great atmosphere, lovely open fire and the big bonus my dog was able to come in too and she was made very welcome.

I cannot recommend this lovely place more highly. The staff are so very friendly and their service so very efficient yet not intrusive. We had a wonderful meal which was cooked and presented to perfection. Finally and most important to us, our dog Lucy was treated like a star, thank you Thatched Cottage Inn for a perfect lunchtime.

Just had Sunday lunch, what a lovely place! Food was absolutely delicious and very well priced.We were 4 adults and 2 children, all thoroughly enjoyed the meals.Two chicken, two beef, one pork and one vegetarian and not a crumb was left. Excellent staff and lovely place!We heard one table trying to get a free meal by complaining, but they cleared their plates, why are some people like that, the manager dealt with it very well though!
