The Artisan Pub & Kitchen in Mendip

Wonderful pub, feels like I have finally found a real English pub, with proper tap choice and proper staff working there. I would give 50 stars if I could! Absolutely amazing!

Stopped off for a quick bite, the food was fairly decent. Got 7 dishes for 20 quid and it wasn't the best food in the world of course, but for the price it was excellent.Decent selection of drinks too and nice quick service from the bartender.Only gripe is a little out dated, toilets could do with a spurcing up and the seats were all a bit tatty

Had our first roast here on Sunday. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious and couldn't eat it all despite trying 😋

1st time I had been out for 2 years. Due to shielding. Was really worried. But had a great night. And felt safe.

Solid pub. Great value for money and good service. We came for lunch but didn't have to eat for the rest of the day because the burgers are huge.I would give 5* but we got a bit of a weird "local pub for local people" vibe when we walked in, everyone stared....

Friendly staff but not an inspiring selection of food or drink. The cutlery was grubby unfortunately, which doesn't fill me with confidence.My boyfriend said his tuna and red onion baguette was oddly vinegary but I think that might be down to personal taste.I think we're a bit spoilt when it comes to pubs nowadays, to be fair, but it wouldn't be somewhere we'd go back to.

Great pub with a friendly atmosphere and a very modern and clean interior. I come in here many times as it is in an easily accessible location. Came in a few weeks ago for a lunchtime meal and it was superb especially for the price! A good selection of beers on tap and the staff are more than helpful!

We were visiting from Essex, and went here for dinner. The food was amazing sausage mash and peas for me and hunters chicken burger for my partner. Service was very good from the two women working. It was lovely shame it's not local to us or would be a very nice place to visit regularly.

Great roast dinners, all at a reasonable price. Cozy location, and would go again.

Great pub the young chap who served us was so so nice. The outside area is Fab! We had a selection of snacks 7 plates for £20 great value and good portions. Friendly locals in the bar and not a snobby place at all. Top draw give it a go 😁
