The Beacon Harbourside Restaurant in Mendip

Service was a bit slow, but food was very tasty and had a good portion size. We had to wait a long time outside to be seated and no one came to us until we had to go inside and meet the server. Servers were friendly and polite, however, being a guest at the hotel it wasn’t convenient to be waiting so long. Excellent food though.

I had the fish tacos and they were delicious. Not really a mexican taco but the pairings were perfect. Comes with 3 and I got the fries which were definitely fresh cut. Prices were similar to what you see anywhere nowadays. I believe these were 19$. Would get again

Six of our ladies group had dinner here and everything looked delicious. I had the prime rib and it was perfectly done and served. Our wait staff, Keesha joined us with many good laughs. Definitely will go again.

We had Keisha as our amazing server. Not only is she prompt a knowledgeable, she is kind, sweet and has a beautiful personality. Keisha is the type of person to go over and above, makes you feel like you could have been friends forever. Thank you for such a great experience.

The hotel is a good bang for your buck. The view is amazing! But the hotel is old and things need to be updated. When going onto the balcony of our room the screen door fell off and whacked into me and my son. I went to take a selfi with the Harbour and got terrified as the wood rail protecting me from falling moved away from the support beam because the bolt was missing! The other bolts rusting and Corroding. Not to mention I drew lines in the dust on the dresser and TV. The beds were cozy, staff were friendly. The restaurant was amazing!! The pool clean and refreshing. I would go back but never again on the balcony. It was truly scary feeling my body jolt forward hearing a crack and seeing the wood railing move.

It was very convenient to have this amazing restaurant with a lovely view inside of the Ramada hotel. We used our breakfast vouchers from our inclusive hotel booking and had a delicious late breakfast at the restaurant. Our kind waitress provided a menu with extensive options and everyone was able to order a dish to their preference.We would honestly return here as the food was well prepared and exceptionally better than any breakfast we've had at other recent hotels. Service at the table was friendly, professional, and prompt. Everything was well maintained and immaculate in the restaurant.Also, the view is amazing from the restaurant! The design is open, linear, and filled with an abundance of natural plants and light.

A place with all the luxury menu items at a reasonable cost. The atmosphere is lacking, it's not fancy and the wine list is short and full of Niagara's usual suspects. My visit was a night of decision with no planning, just wanted some seafood, to which this place fulfilled. In the summer the views are nice, looking out onto a marina in Lake Ontario.

Beautiful scenery, amaizing food, and nice severs. I've got chef's choice shareable menu. All the items were delicious. Juicy and smoky meats were fantastic, Rainbow burger was so~~~~great, and chicken wrap was absolutely perfect! Also, I recommend Korean Nacho!!!!! Crunch, Sweet and spicy~~~ I love it. I would like to taste all of the menu.

Service was good and nice view. Was craving prime rib after a full day of Wine Tastings. We ordered the 8oz prime rib, 16oz prime rib (for 2 people), prime rib sandwich, salmon and fish tacos for 6 diners . We were disappointed that the prime rib did not meet up to our expectations. It was tough to cut and chewy from so much fat. When the waitress came by to check on us, my friends said it was fine but didn't get a chance to speak up since she rushed off. We were hungry and didn't want to wait for another one to be prepared. We did mention it later and showed our prime rib to our server. She wished we had mentioned it sooner when something could be done about it. The manager came over and gave her the feedback of our prime rib. They discounted our prime rib meals with 25% off as we could not finish our meal which was nice but quite honestly should have been at least 50% off or on the house due the poor quality as seen in the pictures. Would have given 1 star but since there was an attempt to appease us and the rest of the meals were fine, I'm giving 2 stars ie. Dislike vs hated it

The food was AMAZING! Surprised by the grazing platter. It’s really good.The new Waldorf salad is really good as well. Goat cheese mix with honey yoghurtService was not bad. Not the best but was responsive
