After many high recommendations to this pub restaurant, a dinner visit was inevitable. This country pub offers exactly what it promotes…a pub in the country. I had hoped for a more thought out menu than the stereotypical “ham eggs and chip” school dinner, but sadly I was met with just that. Please don’t get me wrong, I am not slandering what they do however I just know the potential of an establishment of this calibre could offer so much more.Products - 3*Service - 3*Venue - 4*Value - 4*•Recommendations•The vegetarian menu could really do with a breath of fresh air…🙏Thank you for a pleasant meal 🙏

Table service was excellent under Covid restrictions. Good food, well prepared . Only criticism, Needs to offer a good traditional local cider.

What an excellent place to socialise we had steak, cooked perfect as asked for and a fair price will definitely go there again.

Now this is a cosy pub. Lovely food brilliant polite staff. Been using this pub for quite some time. I love it. Good parking. Get there early can get busy. Book first it's safer. Good kids play area.

The public it's on my way home from Bristol airport, I stopped there 3 times, the food is very good and the staff is friendly, they are also dog friendly and got a beautiful garden outside where you can eat. Last time I had the 16oz burger, amazing.

Wasn't that impressed with the menu. Too much fish. They sold out of steak so the only meat was burgers. So £13 for burger in a bap and small dish of chips. The staff were very friendly and helpful . Love to see dogs there, it gave you a country vibe.

Top notch country pub. Really pleasant old style authentic decor, spacious car park and beer garden with a kids play area so good for family dinners. Food menu is not massive but does decent pub grub and good specials. Drink menu and prices are good value, service is very friendly and welcoming.
