Had a delicious lunch with family today. Great food and great service, however we were all shocked at the very large quantity of vegetables that accompanied the roasts. Far, far too much for any one person. A lot of people could not manage the amount of food and we thought it such a waste, especially in view of so many people struggling to afford food at all just now. Surely more modest portions, eg half as much, would suffice. This would cut down on waste and maybe even improve profit margins!!

Stopped off for a one night stay on our way home from holiday to break up a long drive. Becky was so kind and accommodating, had a good laugh with her, she keeps so professional at the same time. Asset to your team. It’s a family run business with two sisters who seem to work effortlessly together. We had a delicious evening meal and a full blown breakfast with the works. Nothing was an effort and they provided again and again. When we arrived we used the pool. It’s heated to 27 degrees which was a little chilly for me and my 3 year old at the start, but once you get in and get moving, it was ok. We would definitely stay here again as the service and staff were just so lovely.Thank you.

Lovely place for family lunch. Play area for kids. Outside benches to dine on. Good food and friendly service. Decent prices.

Really enjoyed our visit here. The garden is great for a beer whilst the kids play, the service was friendly and the food is what I would call proper homemade pub food, so delicious. It's not fancy, but it is all tasty and you can tell it is homemade. The coleslaw is still delicious, after all these years (my last visit was probably 10 years ago!). Will definitely be back!

After many high recommendations to this pub restaurant, a dinner visit was inevitable. This country pub offers exactly what it promotes…a pub in the country. I had hoped for a more thought out menu than the stereotypical “ham eggs and chip” school dinner, but sadly I was met with just that. Please don’t get me wrong, I am not slandering what they do however I just know the potential of an establishment of this calibre could offer so much more.Products - 3*Service - 3*Venue - 4*Value - 4*•Recommendations•The vegetarian menu could really do with a breath of fresh air…🙏Thank you for a pleasant meal 🙏

The public it's on my way home from Bristol airport, I stopped there 3 times, the food is very good and the staff is friendly, they are also dog friendly and got a beautiful garden outside where you can eat. Last time I had the 16oz burger, amazing.

Top notch country pub. Really pleasant old style authentic decor, spacious car park and beer garden with a kids play area so good for family dinners. Food menu is not massive but does decent pub grub and good specials. Drink menu and prices are good value, service is very friendly and welcoming.
