Only popped in for a pint and a coffee. Good service and very good hot coffee. Nice welcome at bar. Shame we didn't have time to stay longer

Had a lovely spring lunch here after Market on a saturday. What a lovely pub definitely would recommend nice menu & good prices for drinks. Staff attentive & friendly. Good seating outside

Nice quiet pub, hidden away from the main thoroughfares. Dark and a little cold though.Staff friendly and efficient.We didn't eat on this occasion so I can't comment about that.The toilets were small and clean but not disabled friendly.Would possibly return on another visit to Wells.

Pleasant pub and staff. Good real ale. Comfortable seating reasonably spaced out. Local customers were very friendly

Really nice pub. Dog friendly! cosy but not cramped and friendly staff. The menu is limited but the food was very nice and arrived in good time. I also enjoyed reading the history of the place and of a few torture implements :)

Lovely, and well arranged so you could be in a quiet corner with the sport on else where. Table service a nice surprise. City Arms originally, a gaol, is full of history

Lovely little pub when you have a local ti point you to the correct entrance. Good food and friendly staff m, a very nice place to relax with friends on a Sunday

Lovely traditional pub on Wells high street. Painted pink so you can't miss it! Staff are also very friendly. What lets it down a little bit is the fact the food menu is extremely basic (and no vegan options), and the mandatory table service system is lacking as they don't use QR codes to order food/drinks (we waited 15mins at a table before anyone even came over to us). Would still recommend.

What a lovely find! Made brilliant by our server Clair who was absolutely lovely. So sorry I didn’t have cash to tip her. All the girls were lovely polite and friendly.
