Sunday night Jazz Jam is a fun experience. All levels can join in. Nice venue & room. You get to hear some good players sit in.

Cosy pub. The atmosphere is an interesting blend of local and classy and you can still get a great priced pint. Slightly jarred by the miniature tables that were inexplicably stacked on top of a normal pub table. Each to their own I guess. Great they have pies (vegan as well), I’d come back.

They didn't have everything on the menu for Christmas evening dinner which was kind of sad, but other then that, what they did have was delicious. Clean room, friendly staff

I booked dinner here for 19 of us for a motorbike weekend in Frome. From start to finish it was perfect. Pre orders very organised staff, one his first night, all done a great job. For a large booking after re-openerning they done great. Steaks where so juicey and for a large booking all the food arrived on time. The chef and her team done a brilliant job. Great little please and very welcoming of a large party of 19

We have just returned from a weekend stay for my daughters birthday. Hotel was lovely and easily accessible. Car park on the slightly smaller side, however we parked fine. Staff were lovely and friendly and the breakfast was excellent! Our room was a lovely and clean family room. One of our lightbulbs was gone in the bathroom but was replaced very quickly when asked. Only criticism for us; (which was nothing to do with the hotel but more due to the weather we have been having) was our room was very very hot! However the staff were extremely helpful and gave us another fan and our 2nd night was much more comfortable. Housekeeping were A*. WiFi is a little on the slow side but worked for my daughters iPads at night (which in my eyes is the main thing haha). Overall a lovely stay and would definitely go back. Would recommend as a good place to stay if you are visiting longleat (like we were). Bonus points were we were allowed to take drinks up to our room from the bar too 👍🏻 thank you Corner House for a lovely stay.

Web site clearly shows food available 7 days and hotel room booked on that basis. Arrived only to be told no food service on a Sunday so unless you like Indian food nothing much else open on a Sunday. Room was okay, clean and tidy and I know the temperatures outside were extreme but the room was stifling hot. The fan supplied had a broken base and had to be propped between the bed and bedside table so it didn't fall over and, in any case, just moved the hot air around. Unable to sleep more than a few Cat naps. Had been asked what time I wanted the advertised hearty breakfast and booked for 7am. Went to dining area at 7am only to find no tables laid, a few rather old pieces of fruit, a selection of green cereals and 3 yoghurt, oh yes, and no chef. Felt sorry for the young girl who was desperately trying to get someone who could cook to come in. Eventually managed it but breakfast was not as advertised on the menu and 35 minutes late meaning a very rushed breakfast. Then found I was blocked in the car park and took loads of messing about to get out. Would definitely not return
