Be careful of opening times phone ahead as details incorrect here and also finishing serving food ahead of 2:30pm as things put away. We arrived before 2:30pm and knew what we wanted...there was an air of "jobs worth" attitude from the chef or staff in the sense that once things had been put away, even if early, then that's what they will stick to.In reply to Luke...Hi Luke... we were at the counter discussing it at 2:29pm when we discussed it was not 2:30pm yet and the lady explained things had already been put away in the kitchen.You are so right about the disappointment of what we didn't have rather than did have :-)... we've been previously and have enjoyed it some years ago.. and are holidaying in the area so don't get too many chances to visit.Update for Luke... did you manage to find out more?

Good food, generous portions and creative menu. Excellent experience, would go again.

If you want to try something vegetarian or vegan or test if that sort of food is for you go to The Waiting Room. I was surprised how nice vegetarian meals can be. So much flavour. It is slightly expensive but the cost is in the quality of the food. An outstanding vegetarian restaurant. Worth trying.

Cracking bar to relax and switch off at. They sell a wide variety of drinks to choose from, and play great music which add's to the atmosphere. Food is also sold here, but we have not tried it yet. Would definately recommend this if you are staying in the area.

A warm and friendly greeting awaits you as you enter this homely restaurant. Staff, that feel more like old friends, serve a sumptuous menu of vegetarian delights. Highly recommended!

Staff were lovely and food came really quickly. Cheap price for a solid meal but I would have liked more vegan options though. The sesame roast potatoes were amazing! Thank you

Way overpriced and either over or under-spiced imo. £17 for a green bean soup with lots of unnecessary raw hazelnuts in it (?) The starters were nice though, although again value for money was lacking. £8.50 for some mushrooms on toasted bread.. Friend had a French style pie which was tiny without sides, which were supposed to be there according to the menu. Another friend had a curry she couldn't eat because it was way too spicy - without being asked about spice level or asking for 'spicy'. Cocktails next door were alright. Overall, felt a bit like a rip off for what it was and how much we paid for it.

Ate there last night with my son and friends for his partners birthday ,all the staff were fabulous and the service exceptional especially considering how busy they were ,great little place.and as a commited carnivore I was surprised at how great the food was ! .

The food is always delicious. They make a variety of imaginative vegetarian food. I should point out that I'm not a vegetarian. I just like good food. By about the second mouthful I forget there's no meat because of the different flavours and textures. The staff are always friendly. Unfortunately on this visit, service was a little hit and miss. We weren't in a hurry so it wasn't an issue.

Beautiful valentines evening meal. Twice baked souffle best tasted ( and I have sampled many over the years !!) Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Our go to place for a lovely local night out. Looking forward to the grocery store opening up.
