The Full Moon Inn at Rudge, Probably the best pub in the area, while midway way through refurbishment and COVID! has transformed it’s self to a warm friendly pub with wonderful freshly produced food & great service.

We visited for Sunday lunch as a family of 3. The food was really great, but what etched this into our memories was the friendliest of services. A welcome we have never felt elsewhere.We will return again on our holiday again next year.

My first meal inside since lockdown and I’m so pleased it was at The Full Moon. Not just because the great food was made from scratch or that you felt these local staff welcomed you to their community but because of the pride they took in their newly refurbished pub. They’ve worked so hard to open it in time for us all to enjoy. A must to visit!

Great to visit a pub making such an effort to open again fully after being renovated from top to bottom. Friendly staff, great outdoor space with all home make fantastic food. Yes all home make, even the bread. Highly recommended.

New owners have done an amazing job. Managed to get a table for lunch after phoning on a Sat morning - mind you the first Saturday since her gardens reopened. The atmosphere was lovely and we were spoiled for sun. Went there as a vegan and wasn’t disappointed - the vegan burger was amazing and so were the chips and onion rings, one could tell they were handmade. So welcoming and the pub dog was so great to be around too :)

Lovely large outdoor space in the picturesque village of Rudge. Great food with several options for vegetarians. Friendly staff and a good atmosphere in general. My only regret was not having pudding, so I'm going to need to return to remedy that 😋
