Just WOW! Absolute flavour explosion with every mouthful. I genuinely haven’t tasted anything like this - at home or abroad. We went as two couples and had to book well in advance as the place is tiny. We ended up ordering pretty much everything off the menu and loved every dish.Service was attentive and the food was served quickly.Absolutely recommend this place and would love to go back soon.

A dinner to remember. The restaurant is strikingly decorated with dark turquoise walls and a red ceiling. The food is like Spanish tapas, but taking additional inspiration from North Africa and the Eastern Mediterranean, which resulted in an explosion of bold, vibrant and imaginative flavours. Friendly and thoughtful service. The wine list features a good selection of wines by the glass, and a great selection of sherries. Worth a journey.

Such a joy! Friendly, attentive staff. Relaxed and comfortable setting. But the real star the food. Every mouthful to be savoured and enjoyed, a genuine feast for the pallet. Looking forward to a return visit during the summer.

Very delicious tapas-style food and good wine list, but boy - was it chilly! We all kept our coats on...Probably better in the warmer months.

Oh the food! It really is out of this world, the kind of food that you think about for days afterwards! So fresh and flavours that really elevate each dish, all in a cosy, intimate restaurant, with lovely staff - its our favourite place to eat! Thank you High Pavement 💞

I adore this place. Everything i want in a restaurant: great atmosphere, beautifully lit, staff are bang on, great food I could never be bothered to attempt at home and best of all unpretentious and accessible to all. Also, the last time I was there the olives were off the chart. New chef? The chunkier cuts of chilli, bay leaf and garlic really hit the spot

In all the years I've been. I've never ever had a bland or uninteresting meal. It's the best place to eat in Frome, for a special occasion or just to feel special! The food is Spanish/Morrocan tapas with a Frome twist!! Super creative. The atmosphere is really lovely. Staff are warm friendly and accommodating. Their garden makes you feel like you're in the med and the food compliments it too. I use any excuse to go. We are lucky in Frome to have this wonderful place.

Superb. Frome is very lucky to have a venue like this. Waiting staff gave us a warm welcome, explaining the menu for those in our party who have dietary needs and then contunied to offer exemplary service. No waiting to order extra drinks or more food. The food, I cannot praise enough, totally authentic and delicious. An evening I will not forget and hope to relive again soon.

Take my money, whatever it costs!!!Wow I'm really missing Spain and the restaurants. We live in Frome and have been before but it never fails to impress, I've eaten in lots of top class restaurants but this place is absolutely amazing and the prices are even better, the octopus is great.Absolutely lightning fast service and great drinks.I don't normally leave reviews for any establishment that gives you what you pay for as that's exactly what they are meant to do but we get so much more from the High Pavement Restaurant. Can't wait for our next visit if we can book in, there is a waiting list so be quick!!!!

Delicious meal in the garden! Even though we were outside on a drizzly night the atmosphere, food and beautiful awning kept us feeling warm and cosy. Every dish was a delight. Our first meal out in a long time, everything felt considered, safe and easy. Staff were helpful and knowledgeable. Hope to be back for a visit again soon once the nights are warmer. Thank you.
