This place used to be good but someone has taken their eye off the ball. Attention to detail is lacking and no one seemed to be managing the kitchen.1. multiple staff sat around on phones/eating whilst you are waiting for food is not a good experience.2. Staff talking negatively about other customers that just finished their food, paid and walked out the door.3. Expecting customers to go and get their table number...use a spoon with a number on and save your customers the hassle.4. Salads were lacking key ingredients listed on the menu. One of my salads was plain broccoli. No dressing. I could make that at home.5. Salt pot lacking salt. These are the basics. It's a shame as I used to love this place but would only come for a piece of cake now.

Always a great experience, love the fresh cakes but on this occasion it was a full English 😋... fresh produce in a chilled environment what more do you need for breakfast.

A jewel of a place! Beautiful surroundings, friendly staff & delicious food all that was missing was Hugh Grant reading the paper

I visit here about once every 6 weeks and I'm never disappointed! Always have a fantastic choice of food, cakes and coffee for breakfast, lunch and afternoon treats . The breakfast is always delicious with ingredients that are sourced locally. Very reasonably priced and the staff are always kind and friendly.

What an incredible way to start the day avocados on toast with poached eggs. Really enjoyed only disappointment cheats way with poached eggs resulting in hard eggs they should be runny and no olive oil available with Homemade hollandaise sauce on the menu (how are you making it?) However would definitely visit again.

Brunch with the girls, we had French toast with bacon and maple syrup and scrambled egg with smoked salmon. The food was lovely, coffee, sadly not that great. Lovely surroundings and atmosphere

A lovely little cafe located down some country lanes.Great menu with lots of options. Stopped here for breakfast and had the smoked salmon with poached eggs and it was perfection!Fast and friendly service and good coffee too. It's not a huge place - so booking a table at mealtimes is worth doing.

Staying locally for the week, wanted somewhere to go for breakfast. This place is amazing! Great location, very helpful Staff and the food is top class. I had the BAT- bacon, avocado and Tabasco sandwich on granary. Loads of bacon, absolutely delicious. Highly recommended

The cafe is a really nice cafe. The food was delicious and the staff friendly, i would recommend eating here inside or out in the garden.

Cannot recommend this place highly enough. In a stunning location, right next to the church (hence the name I suppose!) with an excellent array of brunch choices - I'd recommend the breakfast burger. All the staff were friendly and polite, all exceeding expectations.
