Absolutely outstanding pub. Above average menu with exceptionally reasonable prices. Ambience first class , service fantastic, could neither fault nor reccomend this exemplary establishment enough.

Good food, friendly staff, best Sunday roast ever had in this area. fantastic prices.

Shocked was an understatment 24 of us for mothers day preordered food,yet every ones food was warm as the gravey came out 20mins later to food ,my food didnt come out until everyone almost ate theres i asked for veg to be heated up as it was cold ,but was told no they couldnt ,the gravy had that many lumps u couldnt pourIt out and the list goes on ,never ever again will we be eating here 😡

Staff were lovely, atmosphere and decoration very nice, food poor and limited to the same old food you can get anywhere. The sausages and peas were nice, let down by grey mash. Creamed mash potatoes, really, try again. You know a little butter in there might have made all the difference. Scampi defiantly lacking too. Sorry.

Could not fault this place at all. The staff are so friendly and make you feel most welcome. We both had the mixed grill and it was amazing. Large portions at very reasonable prices. It was our first time here even though we don't live that far away but will definitely be returning

Very friendly staff and local customers. I was made to feel most welcome and was promptly served by very nice bar staff and land lady. Keep up the good work and I'll pop in again when I'm back in the area.

I couldn't have been more warmly welcomed after a cold wet walk in. Great flvegan food, friendly place. Highly recommended.

We had a really lovely evening out at the Masons last week. The steak pie was amazing, really meaty and my partner had the Cambodian curry, he said the meat was really tender and thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff on shift were all friendly and there was no waiting around for drinks or service. On the whole we had a nice experience. Not too sure why so many bad reviews, we have friends who regularly eat here and they were the ones who recommended it to us. Maybe people just need to be kinder to the people trying to keep the pub trade going. We’ll definitely be back again. Thank you all for a pleasant evening oh and for the brownie… lush!

Curry was not very warm.My wife's chicken was a little dry. Over cooked.Otherwise the taste of the curry & extra prawns was excellent. Other 2 persons food was fine.A "new " barmaid/waitress world hard under difficult/ busy circumstances. Would go again. Draught Beer was great. Well kept.

Took a wrong turn & found this place. What a happy accident. Best food of our holiday. Best mixed grill in a long time - so tasty with a peppercorn crust on perfectly cooked meat. Burgers & chips tasty & well presented. Sevice excellent even double checking order wasn't due to allergies ( it was due to fussiness). You can tell this nice looking pub has atmosphere. Best to book as so good. Will come again.
