This place is really quite a little treasure. Sadly I love too far away to visit regularly. But would recommend to all.

Nice place , couldn't work out what the huts was used for , overnight hikers ??

·

Great experience into this thypical pub, very nice welcoming and food ok !

In the beautiful, timeless setting of Priddy. This pub has great pub food and outside eating areas. I enjoyed the fish pie. My dog found the place so clean there were no scraps on the floor. She gave a grudging 5 stars.

A very friendly welcoming pub with good outside seating in individual cabins if you want to stay safe.

A proper country pub.A friend recommended this pub and even though it’s out of our way we thought we would give it a try, and have been back many times. The food here is fresh and cooked to perfection. The service has always been very good and the prices are reasonable.I’ve not tried them yet but they have beach huts set up as mini dining rooms seating up to six. They have a nice outside space in front of the pub and a play area on the other side of the car park.

We'd driven past this pub a number of times on the way to deerleap viewpoint and were intrigued by the beach huts in the pub garden. Took the plunge and popped in for a quick drink on our way back to Bristol from Burnham. We were greeted by a warm, friendly local pub with a cheery gent behind the bar. A good selection of ales and a gins but perhaps it the most extensive (as you'd expect). Plenty of little pockets of seats to sit in, including pews, in a rustic setting. Nice roaring fire in the wood burner kept the place warm.We will be back to sample the food and maybe try the beach huts when the weather is nicer

Had lunch there today with family. Flawless. Incredibly welcoming, superb pies, really friendly staff, great atmosphere, log burners. This a proper pub, the best I have been to for quite some time, and you should go there too.

Top pub at the top of the Cheddar Gorge! Lovely old stone building, flagstone floor, and several cosy log burners. Decent menu and 2 Real Ales from Butcombe in excellent condition. Landlord and his staff are welcoming and friendly. Really enjoyed our lunchtime visit!

We had lunch in one of the beach huts which have been erected in part of the front garden, very cosy and comfortable with plenty of fresh air. Good food and friendly staff.
