Was recommended this pub by some friends- we were looking for somewhere nice for our wedding anniversary. What a lovely place - the food was really good, very tasty and well presented. The staff were very welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and dessert each and can definitely recommend this pub 😊We will certainly be going back soon ❤️

I stayed for five nights with my wife and 9 month old dog. Our excellent room was both spacious and luxurious and the possibility to park.close-by was much appreciated. We particularly appreciated the very comfortable king-sized bed! The Swan Inn is a fantastic dog-friendly venue and really well situated for visiting all that is on offer in this lovely part of Somerset. The food was not so good unfortunately! The dinner menu is too limited for more than any stay exceeding a couple of days. On a couple of nights, we were limited to a choice of four items including one vegetarian option. The Sunday roast dinner was the worst plate of food I have ever been offered and I made this known to the staff on duty. Fortunately, I was not billed for the main course following my complaint. The MARKET SPECIAL option was not available on three of the five nights. The cooked breakfast was truly excellent but very little was on offer for people like myself who just want a choice of cereal, toast and coffee. I requested sugar to sweeten the porridge and all that was available was sugar cubes which the waitress attempted to crush with a spoon! The staff were all lovely and the location of the pub is superb. Our stay cost approximately £1100 including two courses and one glass of wine each night.

We parked here for a walk around the woods and asked the staff about parking. As long as you tell them you are going for a walk and are willing to buy some drinks ,before or after (we did both), they are more than happy for you to use the car park. Lovely pub, helpful, friendly staff and beer garden with some great views and atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I would highly recommend NOT!! going to this pub.I visited the Swan (under table reservation) for food and drinks in April. After being left quite sometime for our drinks to arrive we made a food order.Nearly an hour passed and our food arrived.. cold, tasteless and frankly not acceptable for the money spent. The staff seemed fairly inexperienced and despite the pub not being busy.. a little lost.Despite this, I paid my money and left as It could of been an off day.Fast forward a month and I receive a bill through the post for £60 as I stayed in their car park for two hours (let me remind you I was waiting over an hour for food)The bill stated I had 14 days from the issue date before it escalated to £100 and I received the bill only 48 hours before that date arrived.I have now paid the bill as I don’t want debt over my head and despite apologetic staff over the phone they cannot help recover the funds.Do yourself and everyone else looking for somewhere to go for a drink and food and DO NOT go to the Swan.Share far and wide.

A great place to stay on business or for a break. The bedrooms are finished to a high standard, staff really friendly and food very nice. When I booked my room I also booked a table for dinner, which was fortunate as the restaurant was busy, even on a Wednesday!I'm told there is a nice walk from the pub around the local countryside, which although I didn't do this time, I will do on my next visit.

The Swan was amazing. Tucked away in a lovely quiet village it had the feel of a traditional pub with fires and welcoming dogs and the rooms were top end and reminded me of the Ned in London. Fantastic place, so welcoming, very generous with complimentary drinks and brilliant food and breakfast. I’d thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely overnight stay. This was a stopover en route to Cornwall. It’s not far from the M5 and looked great - it really is great. The room was very clean, comfortable and stylish with everything you could need. There were complimentary drinks and toiletries (thankfully affixed to the wall). Consideration has been given to sustainability and environmental impact. The evening meal and breakfast were freshly cooked and very tasty; also at a good price. The pub was busy with diners in the evening and it was good to see walkers also coming in for breakfast. There is very good variety on the menu - both day time and breakfast. Being freshly cooked means there might be a wait at busy times but I’d rather wait than have an off the shelf meal. Staff were very approachable and efficient. Express check in and check out made for a very smooth experience. Parking is convenient. There is a very well appointed accessible room.

We stayed a couple of days and really enjoyed ourselves. It was a first stay away with our new puppy and the room and pub were ideal for him and us. Everyone working at the pub was very friendly and helpful. Young staff but they were busy and well organised. Food excellent and the location is great - quiet with fantastic views.

This is such a great find! Wonderful rooms in a beautiful location, where my dog and I could walk straight from the door. The setup was perfect for a dog and all the staff were very welcoming. Food was delicious and the atmosphere in the bar in the evening was lovely - I really couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommend.

Excellent staff. Tasty food. Nice dog friendly pub in a quiet area. Great beer. Recently I stayed for the weekend with my partner. Comfortable bed. Recently refurbished rooms. Free milk, water, tea in rooms. Complementary beer and prosecco as well. Lots of little extras in the room such as lavender pillow spray, clock radio, sewing kit and cotton buds which I wasn't expecting. The staff lent my wife an iPhone charger as well as she forgot hers. We had a 3 course meal which was very nice. Also get breakfast included with accommodation. I had the full English. Would highly recommend visiting this establishment.
