A local pub, very friendly and welcoming, food at a great price ( cheaper than prices at home) which in a tourist attraction was quite something! ( visited twice) Food was OK, presentation could be addressed! Minor things from the young waiters, like side plates and condiments, plus cutterlery that was left out, ( when having Sunday lunch) but all in all a lovely pub with a great garden

Really helpful staff when I phoned to check if they did both vegan carvery and gluten free carvery. When we arrived they were clearly aware of our requirements and were really pleased to see us. Such a lovely welcome. They bent over backwards to ensure we had everything we needed. The meal was lovely. 2 meats - pork and beef with all the trimmings and a vegan plait, again with all the trimmings. We were all full and didn’t have room for their puddings, which included gluten free options and a vegan option.

Found unexpectedly on our walk but was perfect for lunch. Dog friendly and gluten free was available. Gluten free options that were prepared separately to avoid contamination. Had a few handy rooms upstairs and plenty of seating downstairs and outside. The staff were fantastic, friendly and super helpfull. Meals were very yummy and very filling :)

Improved a lot in the past year regarding quality of the food available. Also the staff are friendly and helpful. Regularly call in now as it's the best local pub in my view.

Should have been 14, then it was 10, then on the night ended up with 9 of us for a Xmas menu, no complaints from behind the bar and lovely meals were provided with nothing but smiles and pleasantries from all the staff. Table laid out really nicely, food and service were both excellent, if you want a lovely meal and feel like you are being properly looked after come to the White Hart, brilliant.

Nice pub set in a scenic area. In food with generous portions. Prices reflect a tourist area but not really “trap” prices.Beer garden is a must with kids slide and a great view. Ale selection not great but cider is the specialty in Somerset. So when in Rome…..

After long hiking ( 17 km ) from Cheddar George throughout beacon batch all I could dream about was nice cold beer . I found this great pub just off the road . To order , I had to scan the code on the table , go on the web , chose what I wanted , pay and wait ... all in 5 minutes :) . I wanted to try some regional produce so I decided to order Cheddar Beer . It was very nice and not that expensive . I wish I could try some food too but the time was running out for me . I hope next time . The service was fast and great . Tip was included in the price .
