The Wookey Hole Hotel Bistro in Mendip

A lovely village pub, that we stumbled across whilst staying at The wookey Hole Hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. Great food, decor, service and price. We will be back again when we return to the area.

Had the pleasure of stopping here while visiting wookey hole and was very pleasantly surprised to find this little village pub makeing the most fantastic no fuss food. The food is easily of rosette quality and the kind I would expect to find in an independent London gastro pub. Properly lovely place and will defo visit again if we are ever in area 👍😎

Been twice this month and really enjoyed it. Really friendly staff, great range of drinks, excellent food. Highly recommended.

We didn’t stay here but we went for food last night the staff were great and atmosphere was relaxed but the food was amazing so so tasty and cooked to perfection would def recommend booking as it gets busy well dine wooky hole inn for a great food experience just wish this was closer to home 👍👍chris n sarah

My wife and I Popped in for a light lunch. Good location right next to the Caves. Beautiful inside, and outside a lovely pub garden.We decided to eat inside as it was to hot outside.We chose 2 of the special sandwiches from the chalkboard. They were both very tasty and at a reasonable price. I had a local bitter, and you can tell the beer is kept well.A pub like this deserves praise, a credit to the landlord. So don't waste your money in the Whooky Hole Cafe, for a small amount extra you can get a great meal.

Loved our lunch so much that we came back for our evening meal. The service was great and so was the food.Best chips I have had in my life, no joke :)

We made a last minute booking for lunch, the full menu plus Sunday lunch was on offer, we had Sunday roast and the Salmon both were fab, freindly happy staff even though they were rushed off their feet, highly recommend

What a pleasant surprise. Lovely large spacious pub, with very helpful and friendly staff. There are even rooms to stay overnight if you so desire, (pre-booked). However the meals were wonderful, tasty and of quality, all at a great price. Highly recommended. It has it's own parking location, and is very close to the Wookey Hole attractions.

We didn't stay here but we popped in as a last resort to see if they could squeeze a family of 4 for dinner without booking. They managed to do so and with only a 30 mins wait as promised. Food was good and service was excellent.
