Spent the weekend at The Woolpack, stayed in room 6. On arrival staff where friendly and very helpful, nothing was to much trouble. The room was a little dated but clean and the bed was very comfortable. We booked for evening meal, service along with the food was excellent - breakfast was included in our deal with a great menu choice and a bosting full English. Bus stop was just outside the hotel, 40 minutes into Bath but was ideal for us and we spent the whole day in town on the Saturday. Would definitely recommend staying here and would visit again in the future! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Had Saturday lunch here, they had an open fire going, it was warm and friendly. Food was great, plenty of choice for vegans. I had lentil cottage pie with seasonal vegetables and Gravy, wow it was good. Will definitely go back again

Very nice pub, situated close to Longleat. We stayed in the Premier Inn which was about 10 minutes from here and the food here was much better than the Beefeater. The menu had a very good selection and the pub had a great ambience. Would definitely recommend

The Woolpack at Beckington can be recommended for all age groups - couple's, families, friends; for any occasion. I have been going to this wonderful Pub for many years, from a quiet meal with a friend right through to Christmas Dinner! Lovely, fire, dogs welcome, really special Staff and a Chef who turns out mouth watering meals.

Such friendly staff. Booked here after a long drive and food was delicious. Extensive menu, very well priced. Warm cosy and festive it was great. They do rooms too which we didn't know having booked at a motorway place up the road!

This is a super place! Service was excellent, all the staff were lovely and the rooms were great. And to top it all off, when we couldn't get a taxi the next morning, the manager (I think she is or she should be!) actually arranged for her own dad to drop us at the station! I was so impressed, she really went above and beyond.

Stayed here for the night whilst doing my PADI scuba diving course.I was very impressed - the room was very clean and tidy, and comfortable too.The staff were very polite and friendly, I felt really welcome and the waiter who served my food was very pleasant. The food was to die for as well. You should try their Scottish Oysters - for a starter you get a very large potion! The garden I ate in was really peaceful and chilled.Would highly recommend to anyone whether you want food/drink/accommodation.
