Great little place in a nice location. Very friendly staff and the food is worth the stop and coffee is good too.. I had the bubble and squeak and just wanted more!

·

Lovely coffees, really enjoyed my mocha. The market place was closed off so it was a lovely place to sit outside. Table service and friendly waitress.

We stayed in Wells for the Jubilee celebrations and found this gem while walking through to the Bishops Palace at the top of the market square.Initially just went for a drink and then returned later for dinner and then the next morning for breakfast. One each occasion we had good service and the staff seemed happy and engaged with the customers.I had the mushroom cabanara which was excellent and my companions a pizza. The pasta was the best I had tasted outside Italy. Breakfast was a full English made with tasty products. We don't visit Wells much but will definitely return to 21.

We have been going there for sometime now. Normally it's lovely staff are happy and helpful. Unfortunately we went there today and didn't get the same vibe. It was quiet so it wasn't if they were rushed of their feet. It's a shame, but won't be going back.

Seemed like a nice place but it was so busy that we were waiting a long while. And our order got rather mixed up on the chaos - to be fair to them I think they were unfortunately understaffed. Good choice and nice to be able to sit outside but I'd probably only go back if it was a lot less busy.

Utter chaos which was such a shame as we were so looking forward to eating here after viewing 21 last year on a visit. Had dinner and had to leave most of it as dry plus the staff were rushing us along. Had nachos for two as a starter which was a solid blob and took some wading through, and then half way through these they brought our mains of pizza which were very gooey. I am diabetic and the length of time we had to wait for our food was ridiculous. Staff were totally disorganised and some customers were waiting an eternity to be served, and then it took as long again for them to receive their orders which would only be cups of tea. Staff did not even recognise that they had not taken customers orders. Very poorly managed. Would not recommend. Such a pity as it is in a prime location and customers deserve much better. To be honest I wouldn't have even given it one star, but I had to so I could post the review!

·

Very welcoming to cyclists, and very accommodating. Ideal for a nice bike ride to Wells. Definitely try the almond croissants they are lovely. Very smiley staff and a most enjoyable 20 minute stop. Will most certainly pop in again.

Had a lovely breakfast here and the staff were lovely. It's a popular place but the food is worth it.

The cafe is lovely, the food wonderful, the coffee is perfect, except some full fat milk would be wonderful. For me the problem at this lovely cafe is some of the 60 plus all female clientele. Sexists and insensitive. Seem to not be keen on men. Other than that love the place, pity about the over privileged, wealthy, uncouth patrons with sad husbands at home, ever hopeful.
