Wookey Hub Cafe in Mendip

Had a great stop for tea and cake. Loose leaf decaf which is always nice - good selection of proper homemade cakes.

Had brunch here today. Very friendly staff and very helpful . Food was great and plentiful. The menu is very extensive, so there is a choice for everyone. Also the drinks menu caters for all occasions. Highly recommended

What a little gem this place is👍👌 not so busy as the mainstream cycling cafes where it’s 30 minutes to get a coffee. Saying that it is very well frequented and always has customers when I visit. I try to include it at least twice a week on my own and club rides. Love the array of homemade cakes and the little shop at the back is a goldmine.As a cyclist who covers over 200 miles a week I can categorically state that this is the best coffee of all the places I frequent

Lovely scone with cream & jam, with a pot of tea…such welcoming & friendly staff on a wet day… honoured to be one of the first guests to sit inside they’re newly refurbished cafe! Lovely set up, wishing you all the best going forward 👍🏼

Traveled to Wookey, Somerset today and stopped off at The “Wookey Hub”.“Wot a hidden gem!Greeted by a very welcoming pretty young lady.An amazing choice of quality coffee(including flavoured), hot chocolate and teas, cakes, flapjack (had to eat two) “MMmmmmm”, pork pies and pasties plus tea cakes.Enough food choices to make you want to stay for the whole day!The only place worth visiting when on Safari through picturesque Somerset just set your satnav to BA5 1JZ.“You can even do your weekly shop”!

We saw Andy at Wookey Farm campsite at his stall. Lush coffee, well needed first thing in the morning :) we ordered a selection of pastries in for the sunday morning. Super easy by txt message and all arrived for collection at the stall. They were delicious! Thanks for such lovely food and lovely friendly service! Karen and Gus 👍😁

Brilliant coffee shop, I go as often as possible if not for a coffee to relax and chat to those that run it. Perfect service, and amazing coffees. A must try for all those that pass by.

Was staying nearby for 6 weeks and the hub quickly became my favourite spot to curl up with a good book and enjoy a great cup of coffee! Really great lattes and homemade cakes, but it was the wonderful service and cozy environment that kept me coming back :)

I've fast become a regular at the Hub and why not? There's always a warm welcome, the coffee is great and the cakes (every single one homemade) are amazing and good value. A small shop off the side has most of the basics. Regular groups for all sorts of activities, the Hub is really helping to revitalise the village, but don't be put off if you're not local - you're just as welcome.Long may it last!
