We both loved our sharing cheese platter lunch, nice glass of wine and alcohol free beer. Our whippet also enjoyed the log fire and fuss. Definitely recommended and would go again when in the area.

Lovely place, more a cafe, with wonderful cakes, scones, coffee and tea. Very friendly staff too.

Brilliant, went for brunch and loved it! Great food, even better staff, nothing was too much trouble and it's dog friendly too. We will be back soon.

·

Good local cafe and lovely summer garden space.

Amazing little café with fantastic scones! Lovely back garden and the friendliest staff. Highly recommend.

We had a fabulous 2 night stay at Bridge House, staying in the Batherm room. Everything exceeded our expectations - Caroline was a wonderful host, breakfasts were delicious (recommend the homemade lime & gin marmalade), and the room (and bathroom) was very large, thoughtfully designed and equipped and the craftsmanship was top class. It was a real treat to stay here, the only downside being we didn't get a chance to try the lunch menu. Bampton itself is quirky and well served by independent shops, restaurants, a greengrocer, baker and more, whilst also being well placed for the area's other highlights.

Absolutely brilliant, came here as part of a surprise for my birthday organised by my boyfriend, he told me we were staying in a B&B so I wasn’t expecting much! This place is so lovely, every detail is thought of. The hosts are lovely, food is superb and the room was beautiful! Already looking at re-booking for later in the year!

Breakfast was delicious, the hosts were very attentive and the rooms were beautifully decorated. I couldn't recommend this place any higher. Although I was only here for a few days, I am definitely eager to return.

Wow - what a great lunch experience. Such friendly staff, lovely garden to sit out under cover and a perfect feast. From the delicious breads, to the fisherman's sharing platter to the apple crumble with a huge dollop of clotted cream, it was all PERFECT. And it was all enhanced with a truly tasty bottle (or two) of cider. There were lots of scones and cakes on offer too for afternoon or morning teas, but we just couldn't manage to sample them as well as everything else.Anyway, if you're in the vicinity, you must go. Those lovely ladies will look after you 'andsomely. It's a real treat.

5 of us recently stayed the Bridge House on a group cycle down to Cornwall from London.I cannot recommend it enough, the bedrooms are exceptionally well presented and are of superior quality than the images suggest. The breakfast was to die for and there were a number of different options. It was an absolute oasis for us, with some local beers provided by BH in the living room area where a wood burner was lit for us ready and waiting! Nothing was too much trouble, from food recommendations in town, an early breakfast, and our bikes were kindly stored in a specifically designed lock up.5 stars and more! Go for the room with the huge en suite bath. Can't wait to go back.
