Great little traditional pub/bar. Great beer cider and atmosphere.

Great atmosphere & lovely warm welcome

Having been bounced around by the COVID regulations for nearly two years, ownership of Courtenay's has slipped a generation. Cask ales and traditional ciders served direct from the cask or pin. The main draw is the chat. Board games. No ghastly music. Occasional live music.

Best pub in Tiverton. Ales, music and games... simple

Been past this place for the last 7 years at last had the time to go in. The landlord was very polite the real ales looked amaizing in there jackets and as the barrel was nearly empty 1st 3/4 pint was in the house amaizing! The bar flies "This was not meant to sound offensive" were a lovely local bunch. A must be visit if drinking in Tiverton.

I popped into Courtney's this afternoon for a quick pint. I chose to have a pint of Exeter Breweries Avocet Ale, it was a good choice, the landlady Marilyn said it was a new cask last night & was a bit lively but it tasted wonderful.There's always a great selection of Real Ales & Traditional, Real Ciders here, so if you're in the Tiverton area it's a great place to visit to quench your thirst. 🍻

Great little micropub. Warm welcome and friendly atmosphere.Felt like a long time local 30 minutes after arriving on my first visit.Good beer and good value.
