Daily Chef in Mid Devon

Ordered the "bargain" curry which apparently means chicken, mushroom and rice with soy sauce (ie. not a curry). Could have made a better curry with my feet. Feels like I've been punished for choosing the cheaper option

The worse Chinese I've ever had! Poor quality, no flavour and not priced right. had four different mains and starters and all were bland. Don't bother

High recommended. Food, service is great, portions could be bigger but it will be good quality. Daily Chef Chinese you can trust...

A very disappointing meal. Ordered chicken in spicy sauce, sweet and sour chicken and egg friend rice. The chicken balls were doughy& not very crispy. The sweet and sour sauce was insipid. The spicy chicken was in the same sauce as the sweet and sour chicken, but with overcooked vegetables and the mearest hint of chilli. The rice didn't really taste of anything. The portion size was small. Just moved to the area and was amazed that the food was more expensive and not enjoyable.

The food taste is good, love it. But the girl in blue dress on Monday was not friendly at all. She doesn’t even smile, her face was so grumpy. The waitress we had she was weary grumpy, she never asked how the food am was she didn’t offer us dessert she didn’t even smile. The place and the food is very good. But really the people who work here meeting the costumes need to smile and be friendly.Like

First time visit. Very quick service. What I particularly liked was that the cook didn't use so much soy sauce as other establishments so didn't wake up in the night with my mouth feeling like the bottom of a parrot's cake. Yes, will go again if in the Tiverton area.

First time I have used this Chinese take away, did not dissapoint! Good service, very tasty food, I especially liked the fact that all the meat was tender and everything tasted fresh. If you like traditional, old scho, warming chinese go here! We will be back.

Used to love having Chinese from the daily chef but over the last 6 months every chicken chow mein I order ends up wasted because the chicken is horrendously fatty and not like it used to be! I rarely buy from here now. Quite disappointing to be honest

I have had food from here many times before I moved I have not had it for a year or so and decided to have it and was very disappointed. Both dishes had big hairs in them and the food was not the quality I remember. Needless to say very I won't be returning Golden Palace is much better.

On holiday in Tiverton. Read the reviews and gave it a go. Brilliant food and despite them being really busy, service was good and quick. But most importantly, they serve really good food. We are a family of four and we each had a different meal. They were all well cooked and delicious. One small criticism, normally Chinese take away include a bag of prawn crackers. It would have been nice to have them included. As our food was delivered in a box, it was only once we got home we realised there weren't any. But as I say, this was small beer given the top notch food. Well done Daily Chef and thank you.
