The sausage and fish cake was nice but the chip were disgusting chewy and tasted stale.

Lovely food . Great staff and value for money.

Awful place. Disgusting food, prepared by someone smoking whilst on the job. Since new ownership, the new Owner is horrible !!!!!

Visited here this evening for 1st time...fish was perfect! Chips were non greasy, but a bit insipid...whacked them in hot oven for 10mins and they were much better. Good value for money

Lovely staff and always quick service. The Kids love their chicken bites. Way better than other options for nuggets for kids. And chips are good.

Absolutely disgusting ! Probably the worst portion of chips i ever had(apart from that time i had a portion that wasn't even cooked)tasted lifeless and loveless, not to mention a complete rip-off ! I would have returned my chips for a refund but i was so angry i feared causing a scene that the whole street would hear. Disgraceful, NEVER EVER AGAIN.

I like Friar Tucks fish & chips, but have found that sometimes the chips are the best I've tasted, this is more personal preference than something like for example foul tasting chips. Prices are on average around the same as other fish & chip shops within the area. Again most items on the menu can/are cooked to order.
