Frou Frou in Mid Devon

Sat in the window and was transported to a Parisian backstreet with tasty food, good wine and delightful owner who served us.

We always love our trips to Frou Frou. We have been going for years and have never been disappointed by the food or the service. I need gluten free food and there are always loads of delicious options. They stock a large range of gins, now with lots of West country ones (I am updating this review in Oct 2021). Looking forward to our next visit 😊.

Superb food, beautiful atmosphere and really warm welcome

Great little bistro! Friendliest staff ever. Because of unscheduled road closures, we were 40 mins late - of course I let them know. But they kept our table and were charming when we did arrive. Decent menu and the food was delicious and well presented. Then, at the end of meal, I managed to leave my bank card on my seat. The brill waitress came running quite a way after us with it. Really impressed. So we came back again tonight! Highly recommended. ✅

Lovely bistro, very clean and welcoming. The food os lovely and everyone very friendly.

Saturday evening meal: A nice restaurant with with a limited menu, which it classifies as French bistro.Food was nice, although the vegetables weren't great. Service was adequate as wehad the server that was quite matter of fact while other tables had a server that appeared to be friendly and actually smiled.

Staff very welcoming, service was very good and the Food was amazing desert are a must wow 👏😍

A good resturant with nice selection of food and drinks, very nice staff and food served at a comfortable speed. A nice early bird menu, however with limited choices, good for a afternoon meal.

Frou Frou is an exceptional dining experience. We have spent some very special evenings, enjoying the excellent food on offer. It is more on the expensive side, but I feel you get a very genuine experience and the owners are always very diligent to provide you with the best service. I mentioned it was our wedding anniversary on our last visit and they ensured we had a very special place to sit, away from the rest of the buzz. It is well worth it to go there every now and again when we have the special occasion of a babysitter!
