called ahead to ask about vegan options - told yes, but actually, it's only the soup, and if you ask a question about it, you get a rude reply. Still charging an extra 20p for oat milk in coffee, um, that went out a while ago, it doesn't cost more to choose the kind option. The soup was good but we won't be back

UPDATE: Cafe is not open and hasn't been for 2 years. However, they still serve pasties and hot drinks and the store is a must to have a look round. Bit like a good old fashioned weigh and save including China tea and a variety of coffees. Really nice to see.

I had lunch. It was a bowl of soup with bread and I also had a piece of quiche. It was simple fare but it was absolutely delicious. Please go there and try it.
