Early morning visit to the store. Before purchasing I needed some advice and as the changing room was quiet I was pleased that someone was free to help. The member of staff could not have been more helpful and obliging. Lily was friendly and professional and is a credit to the store.Well done Lily.

Always clean and tidy. Good cafe although service is a bit slow as the staff have a tendency to chat too long with the people who they know. Food is always good and the seating is plentiful. Tends to be a bit noisy.

Really disappointing visits recently. M&S need to hire more staff, as the people behind the counter are rushed off their feet and this is shown by the mile long queue. When I eventually order my 1 drink and my breakfast the poor bloke is making everyone's drinks and another person is wiping sides while a larger number of customers are waiting for their order. The breakfast was less than appetising because the bacon was just fat (first picture shows how much bacon once the fat was removed I actually had and the second picture shows what was delivered to me) and when I asked for scrambled egg I was told this was not an option.Such a shame as I have always really enjoyed my visits here, but after weeks of hoping it will improve, it hasn't

Dreadful service. I was waiting at till nearly an hour for an assistant to sort out a basic order and would not let anyone else help. In the end after my insistence and she literally messed it up again a d couldn’t do it, she eventually called someone else. Would never go back in this M and S again

Staff at foodhall had the gall to rudely order me to stay 2m away from the next customer in line (even though the length of the conveyer belt is smaller than this and I would be colliding with customers in the opposite direction anyway), yet she was not wearing any mask or face shield, thinking a flimsy bit of plastic in front the cashier desk is suitable protection? In fact most staff here wear very unsuitable flimsy fabric masks or none at all.

Do not cater well, very limited menu. With what is available it is Poor quality considering the price you are much better off going elsewhere.

They have recently re-introduced homeware, hurrah! The selection isn't huge, but they have both towels and bedding. It's upstairs by the escalator.

Great food! They offer different drinks and crisps! You can order cold meals like sandwiches or hot meals such as a jacket potato with salad or a tomato soup that comes with a delicious bread . The service takes quite a long time and you have to wait at your table, they bring it to you. They also have tea and coffee.

The staff in the cafe were lacking, to say the least, in customer service skills, they were very condescending and downright patronising to me and my Dad. All we were trying to do was pick up a tray so as to allow us to have something to carry our order. Instead, we were treated like small children and told to follow the one way system (which isn't shown other than word of mouth) all round and back again. Not impressed!

I've only used the food hall recently but its very well stocked with a variety of food & other items. The aisles are nice & wide. The baskets & trollies are pretty cleaned before you need to use them. I have found all the staff to be extremely helpful. Worth a visit.
