A lovely traditional pub in Nomansland, Open fire one end and a Woodburn at the other! Good menu,beers etc and some intriguing non-alchoholic cocktails on offer,just wish I lived nearer.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. The Landlady played the perfect host, making all welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. Fantastic portions the vegetables were cooked to perfection. Mind your head on the carpark door it's a little over 5'.

Very generous meals in a beautiful place, good choice for GF /DF food, but spoilt by several flies around the table all the time, we were indoors.

Definitely the most enjoyable meal we have had in Devon. We ordered the MP burger and the Salmon both delicious and great portion sizes. The service was brilliant despite been a very busy night. The pub itself was traditional and had a great atmosphere with a mixture of friendly locals and tourists.We thoroughly recommend the desserts, chocolate orange torte and lemon cheesecake which came with a selection of accompaniments. The bill was very good considering the high quality of the food and to top off the evening a staff member helped us back out of the busy car park. Booking before hand is definitely recommended.We will certainly return on our next visit to Devon.
