great food only spoil by a very noisy high pitched dog and children running here and there - next time we will book a quiet table

Such a lovely little pub in the middle of an even lovelier little village. The staff are so friendly and make you feel welcome immediately. They treat you like they've known you for years. The sign as you walk in states dogs and mud welcome. If you in the area and want a nice country pub, then you cannot go wrong here. Whether it's a nice cosy pint by the fire or to sit outside and admire the countryside then thus is the place for you.

A lovely family lunch on a Monday! The food was delicious with a proper pub menu and was enjoyed by grandparents through to grandchildren.

Had a lovely meal at this pub with friends and we all agreed the food was delicious. Staff friendly and efficient. Nice atmosphere.

Had Sunday roast. Welcome from bar staff was lovely. Excellent food and well cooked and presented. Would highly recommend.

From the ease of booking to leaving everything was spot on. Staff that couldn't do enough for you. Superb room, warm furnished wonderfully, immaculately clean. Everything in its place. Superb meal in the pub which had that wonderful combination of locals having a laugh, quiet corners by an open fire. Food was outstanding served quickly and fresh and hot. Great variety of local beers. Solid night's sleep in a very comfortable bed. A wonderful breakfast to finish off. Value for money this definately was.

Tasty and well presented food, service was friendly and they allow dogs! Pub has a good atmosphere and although it's not a large menu they have a bit of something for everyone.I can personally recommend the chicken stuffed with Mediterranean vegetables and the brownie for dessert. Prices are very reasonable.

Stopped off on the way for a Wedding weekend away... Really lovely pub... So cosy, and charming inside. Staff were all lovely, friendly and chatty/engaging. Really gorgeous food, so reasonable too! The outside is very picturesque too.-I wish this was my local pub.. I'd be a regular 😁
