Pho Nam in Mid Devon

Equally as delicious as our first visit. This time, summer rolls (last time we had pad thai) and home made lemonade. Staff are a delight and friendly. Food is outstanding. I'm just amazed there aren't queues out of the door. I'd eat here every day if I could! Can't wait for the next visit so I can have the crispy pancake my partner had!Thank you for yet another awesome meal.

Amazing food & amazing friendly gracious staff. Never been to Vietnam, but have eaten in several Vietnamese restaurants & this is on a par with the the best of them. Only wish it was open more days 😄

Previously working for 5 years in the UKs most successful Vietnamese restuarant, as well as travelling around the whole of Vietnam, I can tell you this isn't Authentic Vietnamese food. Summer rolls were wrapped loosely and were falling apart as I tried to eat them. Crepe was flavourless and soggy. Chicken thigh were flavourless and greasy, both this and the crepe were lacking msg. Pho Tai (steak) broth was very sweet and filled with random British vegetables, broth also wasn't clear. Ca-ri (curry) chicken was very thick and again filled with British Veg. It seems like the recipes have all been changed to cater to the British locals and hold more Thai influences than Vietnamese. Other than that, the staff were very nice and kind. My favourite dish was the Jasmine rice, which was light, fluffy and slightly sticky. Also lack of herbs like Thai basil, coriander, lime, beansprouts, sawtooth and chilli.

I cannot recommend this resteraunt highly enough, what a fantastic find!!! The resteraunt itself is bright, clean airy and uncluttered and automatically brings about a relaxed atmosphere. The food was really fresh, authentic and super tasty and very well priced. We will definitely return to Tiverton just for this place!🙏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Daddy & Daughter birthday meal.We came in early - it was my daughter's 11th birthday meal and it's her favourite place. The food was superb as it always is.We had spring rolls, summer rolls, vegan curry and soft noodles in soy sauce (an adapted dish from the menu). We had Vietnamese homemade lemonade and ginger tea to drink, and because my partner had to stay at home with the baby, I ordered noodles for her and a pancake roll which I'm assured were delicious!My only slight problem was that it was a little cold in the restaurant when we first went in but it did warm up as more people arrived. Not even really a valid complaint in my opinion!Overall- excellent 👌

Amazingly fresh food. Great variety, really tasty dishes. Summer rolls were heavenly. Each dish we tried had its own unique taste. It was easy to discern the care in the preparation and the freshness of the ingredients. The service was friendly and very helpful. You would have to travel far and wide in the UK to beat this Vietnamese food. A warm low key setting in the heart of a beautiful town made for a lovely relaxed evening.

The staff were so lovely and the food was delicious. Can’t recommend this place enough, I’m gutted I live 2 hours away otherwise I’d eat here every week. They make incredible lemon iced tea and fresh lemonade. 😍Thanks for a beautiful lunch 👍
