The Bakehouse in Mid Devon

Stopped off for light lunch, superb salmon pate for me, and BLT for him, really fresh and tasty, quickly served. Only small negative, tables clean but very sticky! Probably sanitiser.

We called in for lunch on our bike ride yesterday. Not much was open in Cullompton so it was great to find this place. The food and atmosphere was good and they catered for my gluten free need. Staff friendly and helpful

Very warm and kindly welcome. Took tea, sitting in a sunny window, with fresh, light, fruit scone with jam and Devonshire cream. Perfect!

Fantastic customer service from Leo with beautifully crispy filo pastries and quick and accurate service on a specific drinks order. Will be back when in the area.

Stopped here on the way back from Cornwall and glad we did. Very busy cafe and the food was great. We will be revisiting the next time we're back down this way. Excellent service and we highly recommend.

Lovely place, atmospheric decor, tasty well presented and comparatively priced food of a high standard; lots of staff so it’s easy to get served. You know it’s good when they have tables reserved at 11am in the morning but still got me in. Will be going back.

What a lovely place. Super friendly service, fresh & tasty food, and decent cocktail selection too. Keep an eye out for the specials board. There’s extra seating at the back. Highly recommend!

Stopped off for lunch on our way home from Cornwall. What a lovely find 5 mins from the motorway, food was delicious and staff really friendly. Will stop off again when we pass again

My husband and I went to the bakehouse this evening (steak night) to celebrate our Anniversary. From the minute we walked in we were very well looked after. The service and the meal we had was absolutely 100%. Steak cooked to perfection for both of us. Top night in a top establishment. Well done the Bakehouse.

Had an amazing lunch here on Saturday. All the staff were super helpful and friendly. The menu was great and the evening menu looked good too. Sadly were too full for pud but look forward to visiting again. Thank you!
